Twin Cities Airport Stands Up to Muslims
In a rare and encouraging example of bureaucrats showing a little backbone in the face of Islamic bullying, officials at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport have rejected dhimmitude by refusing to let Muslim taxi drivers turn down fares for carrying alcohol or being accompanied by service dogs.
Says Metropolitan Airports Commission spokesman Patrick Hogan:
Our expectation is that if you're going to be driving a taxi at the airport, you need to provide service to anybody who wants it.
That means even people who aren't conducting themselves in accordance with sharia.
Most Minneapolis taxi drivers are from Somalia, where a leading cleric recently issued an edict calling for the death penalty for those who fail to pray to Allah five times a day. The excessive Somali presence in Minnesota is responsible for the election of Nation of Islam alumnus Keith Ellison to Congress.
An earlier proposal calling for color-coded taxis that would signify which ones provide service to infidels who imbibe was thankfully dropped.
The Minnesota chapter of the Muslim American society has issued a fatwa declaring that Allah doesn't want taxi drivers to allow travelers with bags full of duty-free liquor into their cabs. Allah also doesn't like dogs — not even seeing eye dogs. Fortunately Allah isn't running Minneapolis yet after all.

Welcome to America boys where if you want to live you have to obey the rules. Don't like dogs or alcohol, find another job. I'm sure there are plenty of cabbies who would like to have the bussiness at the airport.

Can you imagine if another group wanted to ban Muslims from their cabs? Oh, the outrage! Keith Ellison would be on them in a NY minute.

Has anyone asked whether the cab drivers were asking for the right to not accept homosexuals as passengers? Islam forbids homosexuality, so that would be logical.
If anyone defends the rights of drivers to rejects passengers with dogs, alcohol or BLT sandwiches, then, logically, they should also defend their right to not carry gays.
Don't you love it when axioms of political correctness collide?
