Moonbat Blast From the Past: Begging For Bin Laden

WorldNetDaily recalls that on this day in history, January 30, 2003, they reported on Ben & Jerry's ice cream tycoon and hippy moonbat extraordinaire Ben Cohen's Internet column dated September 4, 2001, in which he posted the following "enemy wanted" ad:

ENEMY WANTED. Serious enemy needed to justify Pentagon budget increase. Defense contractors desperate. Interested enemies send letter and photo or video (threatening, ok) to Enemy Search Committee, Priorities Campaign, 1350 Broadway, NY, NY, 10018.

One week later, 19 Muslims hijacked four planes and used them to kill 3,000 Americans.

Unfortunately, not even the dramatic arrival of the enemy he asked for was enough to jar Cohen out of his moonbattery. He has since used his "grassroots education and advocacy project" TrueMajority to undermine our attempts to suppress Islamic terror by spreading democracy in the Middle East.

Ben Cohen, goofy but very rich Vermont moonbat.

On a tip from Wiggins.

I say we dump this jackass into a big ol' vat of Chunky Monkey and be done with with it. Hell, do anything as long as he never breathes again...

Personally, I'll never forgive Ben & Jerry for dumping
"Wavy Gravy". Also, their ice cream is increasingly loaded
with fillers and artificial ingredients. And then there's Ben...
yet another of the "chosen people" who's decided socialism is
his god.

We aren't going to "suppress" Islamic terror by a democratization project. Democracy in the Middle East will lead to more violence. Who actually believes that "voting" will change anything? When "Palestinians" were given a chance to vote, who did they vote for? A group who held even worse views than before. Some people need to wake up about Muslims-they don't change just because they can pull a lever. If voting changed anything, it would be illegal. America itself isn't a "democracy" because democracy is totalitarian populism writ large. Our country was designed to be a republic, the best system ever devised.

Meanwhile, back at the freezer section of your local DECA Commissary or PX/BX, Ben & Jerry's crappy ice cream is on sale to service members and their families.

I've always felt their ice cream was over-priced hype and stayed away from it but once I saw Ben Cohen holding up a dollar bill as a prop to malign defense spending I decided it was just plain wrong to buy it. For some reason though, Cohen doesn't seem to have a problem selling his crap in commissaries or exchanges on military bases. His real belief, even above self-promotion, is about making a buck; I just wish he'd do it and spare us his hypocritical lectures.

Ever since J Bear died, Cherry Garcia has had less and less cherries, and now instead of whole ones, they're just pieces.

The internet ad was bad, but the cherries are the last straw.

Bryers is a lot better anyway!

Okay KHarn,

I understood that and agree whole-heartedly.

NGWFJ,

If "J Bear" is another name for Jerry of Ben & Jerry, and they've since run low on cherries in Jerry's absence, then that explains it all in my book since Ben is just nuts.
