Hunter Defends USA From Kerry's Insults

Responding to the vile insults Hanoi John Kerry directed at America the other day, Duncan Hunter has proven we have at least one 2008 presidential candidate who will actually take his own country's side.

As you may recall, Botched Joke John told a gathering of elitists at Davos, Switzerland that America is a pariah, and that it is guilty of "duplicity and hypocrisy." He even blamed the USA for AIDS in Africa. Oh, and he said that Americans have an "unfortunate habit" of viewing the world "exclusively through an American lens."

Liberals have a more unfortunate habit of viewing the world exclusively through an anti-American lens, though few go as far over the top in denouncing their own country to foreigners as John Kerry, who is very possibly the most contemptible human being to have risen to prominence in our political system. That anyone would ever have voted for this piece of work for president makes me shudder with horror.

One reason treasonous vermin like Kerry push the envelope so far over the edge is that no one calls them on it. The largely likeminded press is all but silent, and even opposition politicians discreetly fail to notice, leaving the false impression that such behavior is acceptable.

Thankfully Hunter stood up for America, noting the tremendous good we have done for an ungrateful world, and pointing out that it was "terrible" for Kerry to have said what he did.

Great Blog, we actually had Duncan Hunter on a BlogTalkRadio show on Saturday to discuss his views and it was an awesome show.
If you want to listen to it you can follow this URL

Well of course, no guy with the surname of "Hunter" will ever have a ghost's chance of getting into the oval office. His name alone smacks of manliness, strength and someone who can take care of himself. The very attributes that scare the pants off of the ninnies we have in office now.

I think a requirement for anyone running for president should be that they LIKE this country.

One frustrating thing about this character is that he so often speaks in terms of Bush.
"The Bush administration has failed in addressing a number of foreign policy issues". It's like when he was running for prez, his answer about what he would do was always "well I'll tell you what I WOULDN'T do.." then he'd complain about Bush.

And he made so many mistatements, like Kyoto. That subject is so muddled, people don't even know the truth on it, or care. It was unanimously decided by the senate in 1997 to NOT sign it until third world countries participated. Gore, Lieberman, Kerry, all agreed. But now it's all Bush's fault.

But I do agree with Kerry on one thing. We do seem to be a pariah. The Bush administration could say the sky is blue and the world would condemn us for something. We give billions in foreign aid and the world hates us. We sent our troops to fight and die so another nation can be free and we're the bad guys. Go figure.

Also, another requirement to be prez should be you NEVER bad-mouth our country to foreigners. That's like me complaining to the neighbors about my wife. I'd be a pretty low character.

It's like he's trying to get their sympathy or something. What a weak baby.

Yeah NGWFJ, we are pariahs...precisely because we're successful and thus far, very blessed. If we walked on water the world would hate us even more, and that's the entire point. Christ told His disciples: "if the world hates you, then know it hated me first". Why is that? Because the world system is evil and doesn't want to embrace good, that's why. Not that we're perfect...far from it. But for the most part we as a country HAD been on the right track. Now of course, we're failing miserably on several accounts.

As for Kerry...he's a kept man who's done little to earn his keep. BTW, haven't heard anything about his wife in ages. Bet she's in a trunk tucked back somewhere in the attic, ya think?

Whoa, wait a minute. That's unfair. To the other contenders, I mean. What about the hero of Chappaquiddick? More to the point, what about Jimmy Carter, the worst President in American history, and the worst ex-President to boot? We're talking about some seriously contemptible people here!

I'm glad Jay Guevara brought up Carter with regard to problems Kerry's having. It seems that Carter, like Kerry and maybe Ted Kennedy too, were rejected as failures by the voting public and this is their way of rejecting most of us in return. By thrashing America they are able to finally drum up some vocal support and they don't care what quarter it comes from as long as they think they're getting a chance to throw something back at the people that they hold responsible for slamming the door on their political ambitions.

Al Gore, Dan Qualye's angry twin, has run down that road and still harbors the idea that he can reclaim himself with his global warming screed.

Gore, Kerry, and Kennedy seem to have felt that it was their birth right to ascend to the White House and now we get to listen to them moan about not succeeding. Carter, well he's what you get when someone that has no business leading gets past the public long enough to do damage at the highest level and also lacks the class to live out his retirement by leaving us in peace.

It seems that some Americans, John Kerry, Ted Kennedy, et al, view the world with their head up their ass.
