Free Rent and Tuition For Nathaniel Abraham, Murderer

It seems Michigan taxpayers are generous to a fault.

At age 11, Nathaniel Abraham was convicted of shooting a man to death in Pontiac with a stolen rifle. Now he has been let out of jail and set up in a furnished Bay City apartment paid for by state taxes. He'll be taking classes at Delta College; taxpayers will pick up the tab for that too, all courtesy of the Foster Care Demonstration Project, designed to help foster children who aren't children anymore but still want the government to give them things paid for by others. The state ordered this Wayne County program to support Abraham, despite that he is not even from Wayne County.

After being convicted of murder, Abraham could have been sentenced to adult prison time. But a judge decided instead to give him juvenile detention with a mandated release at age 21. While in juvie he "continued to struggle with anger management and bucking authority figures." He is an aspiring rapper.

In addition to two years free rent and a free four-year college education, Abraham also gets food stamps. Who says crime doesn't pay?

His lawyer says Abraham paid for the pimp outfit himself.

On a tip from V the K.

Update:

It looks like you can't believe everything you read in major newspapers. According to a report today, Abraham is paying his own bills. With thanks to The Panday.

Oh yeah, he's gonna go straight. Nothing like the pimp look as a predictor of law-abiding behavior.

Didnt anyone ever tell this clown that purple shoes clashes with white PJ's? The guy looks like he just rolled out of bed.

Its not as bad as some of those nightmarish outfits they wore on the set of GOOD TIMES back in the 70s.

And rap music is SUCH a good choice-to encourage those blacks filled with rage to act out on it like he did.

Just in this morning's paper:

"Abraham Footing Own Bills"
"Michigan not paying for man's housing or tuition, officials say"

Well, that's a relief.

One batty columnist liked the pimpalicous threads.

After years of toeing the line, wearing "appropriate" clothes, he opted to show off. To preen for the cameras. "He was saying, 'I'm free,'"
.

He was only 11 years old, even though he paid his time he still is twenty one. Obviously! Not a good choice of wardrobe just getting out of jail. But what do you want from a kid that is probably still mentally 11. Good Luck. Rap is not bad it's just what YOU do. Hopefully he will at least fade into the masses to never be heard from again. How many 21 year olds dress appropriately. Plus look at what state he is from enough said.

let the boy live he did not gun anyone down he made a mistake and deserves a second chance what because he's black he looks like a pimp huh fuck you all give him a chance for success every black child is not a loser we all make mistakes and learn from them and he made a wrong chose with playing with guns but he did not intentionally gun down anyone assholes get a life and leave his alone.

Since when does a person's style of clothes become an indicator on rather they are a law abiding citizen?

And who said rap music had anything to do with the murder

What do you mean by "look at what state he's from?" Are you implying that people from Michigan are poor dresser's?
