Al Franken Calling It Quits
Wonderful news: the obnoxious Al Franken has set February 14 as the last day he will befoul the radio waves with his moonbattery, as his Air America continues to flounder in bankruptcy.
But there's a cloud inside this silver lining. He may actually run for a Senate seat in Minnesota, where he moved from New York last year. Minnesota has offered us the first pro wrestler Governor and the first Muslim Congressman; next could be the first Senator who is literally a clown, if not a very funny one.
In a possible reference to a Senate run, Franken warns that his last show will be "sort of a valentine."

On a tip from Wiggins.

On the one hand, it's awesome that he won't be polluting the airwaves anymore. On the other hand, I would NOT like to see him as a Senator (Though, of course, he'll almost certainly lose by a landslide, and blame it on a Republican conspiracy against him).

It's time for Al to become a muslim...he's got the "terrorist" part down pat already.

But...but...Air America is so popular! Everyone at the Free Clinic loves it! "The People" are thirsting for "progressive" radio!

What do Castro and Air America have in common?
Rumors of the imminent death just keep coming and coming...

Man, no one's said it. He'll win because he's good enough, he's smart enough, and doggone it, people like him.

The same people who like Franken are the ones who voted for Kerry in the last election...not a great endorsement!

Air America was a joke from day one. Once again
the moonbats felt that many share their view
but in reality very few do.
Between Al Franken's salary and lost revenues
that could have helped out alot of people they
claim to be repressed by "The Man".
Now if Sean Penn will volunteer as a human
shield in Lebannon we might be getting
somewhere.

Air America is doing quite well for itself.
I like how people are calling Franken a "moonbat." Borrowing from O'Reilly are we?

If by "doing quite well" Trudope means found another rich leftist to bail it out, then...
At least they don't have to rob another Boys and Girls club.
