Which Holiday?
One problem with using the vacuous "Happy Holidays" in place of "Merry Christmas" is that confusion might arise as to which holiday you're really referring to. Some people, given their natural proclivities, might even assume you mean Halloween.

I would like to point out that Ms.Pelosi is Italian-American, not Hungarian. We hate to see the Great One maligned in any way.

I naturally assume people are referring to Earth Day, quickly becoming the highest holiday on the moonbat calendar.
