Susac's Syndrome
Posted by Dave Blount at December 14, 2006 11:09 AM
Louise Clarke of Bristol, England is one of 200 people suffering from a bizarre brain disorder called Susac's Syndrome. Her symptoms include migraines, hallucinations, and thinking that she's French.
Ms. Clarke started speaking French at all times, inviting friends to stay with her in Paris, and even asking for croissants. As she reports:
It might sound funny to others, but suddenly thinking you are French is terrifying.
I would imagine.

Another case of Susac's Syndrome?
On a tip from Bill V.
