Scientist Discovers How to Cut Greenhouse Emissions in Half

Posted by Dave Blount at December 12, 2006 2:40 PM

One person relieved to see the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change lightening up on the global warming hysteria is scientist Fred Singer, who is living proof that the supposed scientific consensus on humans making the planet heat up exists only in the minds of moonbats.

The IPCC halved worst-case estimates for the rise in sea levels by 2100 from 34 to 17 inches. Meanwhile, a completely unhinged Al Gore has been bellowing that the sea will rise by 20 feet.

A rising sea level is to be expected even without SUVs — or far more potent cow farts. As Singer observes:

Sea levels have been rising steadily since the peak of the last Ice Age about 18,000 years ago. The total rise has been 400 feet.

Singer is coauthor of the book Unstoppable Global Warming — Every 1,500 Years, which documents how the Earth warms in regular solar-linked cycles. He notes that there are two ways environmentalists could cut greenhouse gases in half: collapse the world economy, or kill off 50% of the world's population. Let's hope liberals aren't listening.
