Pearl Harbor Versus Now
Here's how we responded to Pearl Harbor (via LGF):

Here's how we now respond to our terrorist enemies in the Middle East:
The contrast might offer some insight into why the war in Iraq isn't moving along as satisfactorily as WWII.

If you don't know the difference between Pearl Harbor and Iraq, you're the quintessential dimwit war monger.

Robert Redford's 100% liberal Sundance Film Festival descends deeper and deeper into depraved vileness.
This year, there's a film in the dramatic competition called "Teeth" about a girl who, while being molested by her older brother, discovers she has teeth in her vagina. This film was selected from more than 3000 entries.

What people like "wake up fools" dont understand is that 9/11 was like Pearl Harbor. The current war is not just about Iraq any more than WW II was just about Germany or just about Japan. Its about a war of Islamo-Fascist extremism threatening to sweep the globe in coming years. As nutty as Glenn Beck is sometimes, that guy has really opened my eyes about the reality of radical Islam.
Oh sure, we could pull out our troops home from Iraq and Afghanistan and maybe not be attacked for a few years and allow radical Islam to take complete control of the middle east then Europe. Of course if we do that the only choice then will be to nuke them - and no sane person wants it to go that far.
If I thought for 1 minute that if we brought our troops home and peace would come to Iraq and the middle east and the radical Islamists would simpley vanish away, then Id be all for that course of action. Unfortunetly that isnt reality.
In the same period of the war in Iraq in which weve lost 3,000 Soldiers we lost over 300,000 in WWII and that was when our population was 1/3 the size it is now (making the equivalent loss 1 million today). What a difference a generation makes.
I guess it will take something worse than 9-11 to really wake people up. Hopefully it wont be anything like that new CBS series JERICHO where 20 cities are hit with small atomic bombs. Even 1 bomb would be horrific beyond belief - RAND did a study on such a scenario involving the port of Long Beach California.
Ok, lets all think happy thoughts now!

If "Wake Up Fool" had been around in 1942, he would have advocated a "Japan Study Group" to tell us how to surrender to the Japanese and pursue a diplomatic solution with Nazi Germany.
Of course, Wake Up Fool has previously asserted that giving up the fight and letting the enemy win isn't the same as surrendering.
Just another chickensh*t troll who won't even leave an email.

9/11 and Iraq are hardly related. We might just as well had invaded Singapore for its alleged ties to Al Qaida.
How pathetic is it that you don't even know the basic facts about a war you so passionately promote? You'd rather another 2,000 Americans die in the desert than abandon your silly "no surrender" slogans.
I know you'd rather be told how to think and leave it at that, but take my word for it, "thou must always be at war" isn't written in the Bible. Why not take 5 minutes to consider the complexities of the Iraqi occupation before spewing your worn cliches?
Wake up fools.

60,000 Americans were slaughtered in Vietnam for no reason. When fools like "V the K" claim that anything other than destroying countless lives to achieve impossible goals is "giving up the fight and letting the enemy win", you know you're dealing with a class A dimwit.
Thank God more people like "V the K" aren't behind the controls of our military policy. No amount of destruction and death is enough to pry their heads from their ignorant asses.
Wake up fools.

Troll boy still hasn't explained how giving up isn't surrendering, or how a sneak attack that killed thousands of Americans in 2001 is completely different from from a sneak attack that killed thousands of Americans in 1941.
Because he can't. He just goes to Kos, copies a few talking points that are bouncing around the left-wing echo chamber, and combines them with some playground insults, and deludes himself that's he's making an argument while he lacks the guts to even post under his own name or leave a legitimate email address.
Wake Up Fools doesn't want to mention that America giving up in Vietnam led to the slaughter of millions of human beings at the hands of the communists he adores. Nor does he care about the far greater consequences of America giving up in Iraq and ceding the field to radical, nuclear-armed shiites bent on exterminating all infidels.
Let millions more die, as far as he is concerned. What are a few million dead bodies, so long as liberals get to be smug and gloat over American defeat. (Just like after Vietnam). Typical ignorant leftard.

Hey "Wake the Fools", nowhere in this website will you find anyone chanting for WAR WAR WAR! We are not warmongers. We want to protect the American way of life and to do that we have to go on the offensive in this war. Where do you think the enemy would be if we were not in Iraq? They are busy in Iraq right now because we are there. If we abandon the war they are free to begin planning their next wave of attacks. Furthermore, do you remember what diplomacy did for Chamberlain? It was WWII with an enemy that had time to develop a powerhouse that took the world 4 years to destroy at the cost of millions of lives. I'd rather trust our military to keep the muslims in Iraq than to have your short-sighted foreign policy allow them to develop their power while you and your blind Democratic politicians wine and dine them and ask them nicely to stop being mean. Learn from history don't repeat it!!!! Wake up you fool!!

More history our new troll is completely ignorant about.
Mainly, because it happened before the sixties.
On Tuesday, May 29, 1453, the armies of the Ottoman Sultan Mehmet II entered Constantinople, breaking through the defenses of a vastly outnumbered and indomitably courageous Byzantine force. Historian Steven Runciman notes what happened next: the Muslim soldiers "slew everyone that they met in the streets, men, women, and children without discrimination. The blood ran in rivers down the steep streets from the heights of Petra toward the Golden Horn. But soon the lust for slaughter was assuaged. The soldiers realized that captives and precious objects would bring them greater profit." (The Fall of Constantinople 1453, Cambridge University Press, 1965, p. 145.)
It has come to be known as Black Tuesday, the Last Day of the World.
Some jihadists "made for the the small but splendid churches by the walls, Saint George by the Charisian Gate, Saint John in Petra, and the lovely church of the monastery of the Holy Saviour in Chora, to strip them of their stores of plate and their vestments and everything else that could be torn from them. In the Chora they left the mosaics and frescoes, but they destroyed the icon of the Mother of God, the Hodigitria, the holiest picture in all Byzantium, painted, so men said, by Saint Luke himself. It had been taken there from its own church beside the Palace at the beginning of the siege, that its beneficient presence might be at hand to inspire the defenders on the walls. It was taken from its setting and hacked into four pieces." (P. 146.)
Which is exactly what the jihadis want to accomplish today, and which 'What a Tool,' I mean, 'Wake Up Fools,' ... no, I mean 'What a Tool' is perfectly willing to let happen today.
