Christmas Banned in Cradle of Spanish Christianity

Christianity has always been a crucial aspect of the national identity of Spain. It allowed the Spanish to maintain their character through 800 years of Muslim occupation, while many other cultures were completely absorbed into the barbarous world of Islam, never to reappear. Eventually it inspired them to cast out the Islamic invaders. Spaniards then repaid the favor by spreading Christianity throughout the world.

But that was before moonbattery corroded Spain's character to a shameful shadow of what it once was. Now, a school in Zaragoza has banned Christmas, on the grounds that Muslim children might not like it. There will be no nativity play, and no handing out of presents.

As reported on Wikipedia, Spain's Christian heritage is particularly important in Zaragoza:

Zaragoza is linked by legend to the beginnings of Christianity in Spain. According to legend, the Virgin Mary appeared miraculously to Saint James the Great in the 1st century, standing on a pillar. This legend is commemorated by a famous Catholic basilica called Nuestra Señora del Pilar ("Our Lady of the Pillar").
The event, called "Las Fiestas del Pilar", is celebrated on October 12, which is a major festival day in Zaragoza. Since it coincided in 1492 with the discovery of the Americas by Christopher Columbus, that day is also celebrated as El Día de la Hispanidad (Columbus Day, literally Hispanic Day) by Spanish-speaking people worldwide.

Somehow I don't see schools in Saudi Arabia banning Ramadan for fear Christian children might not like it. But then, children aren't allowed to be Christian in Saudi Arabia — any more than they will be in Spain in the near future if demographic and political trends continue.

Zaragoza's beautiful Nuestra Señora del Pilar, thankfully still standing.

Spain, once the greatest power in the world, is now only a shell of its former self. This is what liberalism can accomplish when left unchecked - the dissolution of a once proud nation.

America, are you taking notes???
