Who the Hell Wants to Live in Mississippi?
Ever get the impression that the Northeast and Left Coast liberals who now control Congress don't think too much of the rest of the country? Here's what our next Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee, the pro-communist, race-baiting demagogue Charlie Rangel (D-NY), has to say about Mississippi:
Mississippi gets more than their fair share back in federal money, but who the hell wants to live in Mississippi?
Responds Rep. Chip Pickering (R-MS):
I hope his remarks are not the kind of insults, slander, and defamation that Mississippians will come to expect from the Democrat leadership in Washington, D.C.
Don't get your hopes up too high, Rep. Pickering.

More of the same old stuff, damned New Yorkers, retire, move South, they can't drive, have no manners at all, they infuriate us southerners with their attitude that just because we have southern accents, that we're illiterate or mentally deficient! This individual demomstrates that the average NY voter has all the sense of a chicken!

Back in June, New York made Readers Digest's "Politest City."

Obviously they didn't take into account what New Yorkers' have to say about other areas. Nor did they speak to Charlie Rangel.
