Wal-Mart Derangement Syndrome
Wal-Mart will never be forgiven for demonstrating the benefits of capitalism to the average citizen. To get an idea with how obsessed moonbats can get with the world's most successful retailer, visit WakeUpWalMart.com, which describes itself as a "social movement" with over 180,000 supporters.
While critics of socialism have the challenge of getting the media to acknowledge the genocide, slavery, and abject poverty that have been inflicted in its name, Wal-Mart's enemies have the even tougher job of inventing reasons for us to resent a store that helps keep inflation and unemployment low while providing us with things we need at affordable prices.
WakeUpWalMart.com details at mind-numbing length the many reasons that working at Wal-Mart is a fate deserved only by the damned. Yet it is not explained why every time Wal-Mart overcomes moonbat resistance to open a new store, thousands line up to apply for jobs. Wal-Mart is blamed for holding down wages, but those seriously concerned about this issue would devote their energy to combating illegal immigration, not propagandizing against discount stores.
Poor Wal-Mart is even blamed for the cost of government programs for which its employees are eligible. For providing people with jobs, Wal-Mart's enemies would like to present it with a bill to finance the government's habit of shoveling other people's money at those who don't need it.
The retailer is also accused of destroying the environment, increasing traffic, discriminating against women, buying too many goods from China, not inviting the unionization that is killing our auto industry, exploiting child labor, blighting communities (by providing jobs and cheap goods?), and even desecrating Indian graveyards.
If there's anything actually wrong with Wal-Mart, it's that its management foolishly tries to befriend liberals who are going to hate it anyway by forcing employees to endure pro-homosexuality "sensitivity training."
Even after 9/11 it will apparently be news to some that we have an enemy out there, and it isn't Wal-Mart.

On a tip from Wiggins.

Actually, the jobs there aren't the best, at least where I live. My brother wanted to work in stock and they pushed him to do shopping cart duty about 7 hours a day (and I'm in Florida and he did it in the Summer...). So some jobs can be horrible in certain areas, especially if it's the Super Wal-Mart.
The thing about buying from China, I debated with another person, is even if they do stop selling items to us to try and "hurt us" it won't work, because they technically need us for economic reasons, so we hold a good economic relationship with them.
Besides those two points...yeah, moonbats are crazy =P

Unions not only killed the domestic auto industry, they also killed most major airline carriers.
To be specific, we should have a better name for the unions that kill industries because the idea of a union is not necessarily bad. The unions that kill industries are perhaps "Anti-Work Unions."

I just don't understand this whole "social movement" against Wal-Mart.
If you don't like it, don't shop there, and don't work there. Those are paid employees, not slaves, they're free to leave.
