Still More Gitmo Pandering

Obsequious pandering to the malevolent cult that motivates Gitmo's inmates continues.

Captured Germans were never offered free copies of Mein Kampf during WWII, yet taxpayers get to finance shiny new Korans for Club Gitmo vacationers. Prayer caps and prayer mats are also provided. Recorded calls to prayer are broadcast five times a day. Guards must maintain a respectful silence while the terrorists are praying. Signs point out the direction to Mecca, where the meteorite Muslims pray to is stored. Most of the guests also get prayer rugs, prayer beads, and prayer oil.

Now we learn that Gitmo malcontents who go on hunger strikes have their force-feeding schedules adjusted so that they can fast during Ramadan. The demon that inspires their terrorist activities doesn't want them eating when the sun's up during the unholy month, and far be it from the USA to come between terrorists and their god.

"We moved it to the nighttime hours," Dr. K said of the force-feeding. He couldn't give his whole name, or Muslims might thank him for the favor by tracking him down and killing him.

Non–hunger-striking vacationers at Gitmo were served a feast to honor the end of Ramadan. In fact, they were served the Eid al Fitr feast twice. The first time around, the Gitmo guests wouldn't eat because they didn't believe Ramadan was really over, choosing to believe instead that our military was trying to trick them.

Meanwhile, human rights groups screech that force-feeding is unethical. Of course, letting terrorists die would also be unethical. Setting them free to sacrifice more innocent civilians seems to be the only ethical course.
