Racial Discrimination Banned in Michigan

It's not all doom and gloom today. Proposition 2 passed in Michigan by a large majority, proving once again that if it were up to the people instead of our moonbat-infested courts, our Constitution would be upheld and there would be equal protection before the law — even for whites.
Prop 2 outlaws giving preferential treatment to groups or individuals based on their race, gender, color, ethnicity, or national origin for purposes of public employment, education, or contracting. Who could disagree with that? The answer is: a majority of voters under age 40, women, Democrats, and blacks. Nonetheless, it had enough support from everyone else to get 58% of the vote.
The proposal was inspired by the 2003 US Supreme Court decision to uphold the University of Michigan's systematic discrimination against Caucasians. This case was spurred by Jennifer Gratz, who was wait-listed for being white when she applied to U of M in 1995. Unsurprisingly, she's happy about Prop 2:
I am excited and hopeful that Michigan will finally be a place of equal opportunity for all.
But progressives are unlikely to give up on their dream of a regimented society stratified by race, with whites at the bottom. Growls Michelle Crocket, a lawyer with the international law firm Miller Canfield in Detroit:
This is not the end of it, even though it may win tonight. It's going to be in the court for a long time to come.
In court, moonbats have home court advantage.
