Peacenik Kook McGovern Advising Congress on How to Lose War

Some have wondered: considering how badly RINO Republicans disappointed us, how bad could a Democratic Congress be? Here's how bad:

The granddaddy of flower-sniffing, tie-dyed, head-in-the-colon moonbattery, who ran for President on a platform of surrendering to communists whose eventual victory resulted in genocide on a massive scale, will be meeting with members of Congress next week to advise them on how to go about surrendering to our jihadist enemies in Iraq.

Resisting the expansion of totalitarian communism and terrorist Islam are equally "foolish enterprises" according to the astonishingly foolish McGovern, who actually seems to believe that terrorism is caused by our efforts to fight it. Apparently having erased 9/11 and the attacks leading up to it from what passes for his mind, McGovern holds that it was removing Saddam Hussein from power that created the terrorist threat, and that the only reason there are terrorists in Iraq is because our troops are there preventing them from replacing the democratic government with a theocratic dictatorship.

Next perhaps Michael Moore or Cindy Sheehan will stop by to advise our new Congress on how to lose the war as quickly as possible — their views are indistinguishable from McGovern's. Or why not Hugo Chavez?

"I think the Democratic leadership is wise enough to know that if they're going to follow the message that election sent, they're going to have to take steps to bring the war to a conclusion," he said.

McGovern, by his own standard, isn't wise enough to follow the message voters already sent him and stfu. Plus the war should be concluded when Iraq is stable enough for us to leave, and when the IRAQIS ask us to, not the people who are blowing up civilians.

When you think about what McGovern is trying to do, in comparison it makes that photo less disturbing.

Might I suggest that McGovern, like all the socialists in this country adopt rags for headgear and bed sheets for clothing so as to accurately reflect loyalty to their new oriental masters.

I don't think McGovern distinguishes between actual Iraqi citizens and the insurgents who are blowing up civilians. I believe he considers the current democratically elected Iraqi government and the hostile terrorist organizations who are wreaking havoc in that country to be on the same political footing.

I say this because he, and others like him, have so many times spoken of how we should leave Iraq because they don't want us there, despite the fact that the current Iraqi government has said in no uncertain terms they do NOT want us to leave now.

Denail. Most americans are living in a fantasy of peace and good will not realizing their self inflicted denial of reality.

Well hell no they dont want us to leave, that would be suicide. We need the oil and an airbase there. WMD was just an added attraction.
