Muslims Go For Our Achilles' Heel

As new facts come to light, it is becoming impossible to doubt that the radical imams who got themselves thrown off a flight from Minneapolis to Phoenix last week were either planning to hijack the plane or — much more likely — deliberately created the impression they were.

A predictably sympathetic media clucks that the poor radicals were discriminated against just for praying, which is a perfectly legitimate activity when not done by Christians. However, the imams did much more to terrify the other passengers than ostentatiously praising the god of airline terrorism at the top of their lungs.

As FrontPage notes, three of the imams repeatedly shouted "Allah" when passengers were called for boarding. After getting on the plane, they abandoned their assigned seats to take seats near each of the exits — standard procedure for hijackers. Though not overweight, they asked for seatbelt extensions, which they placed on the floor instead of using; seatbelt extensions are great for strangling flight attendants and pilots. Passengers heard them denouncing America and President Bush. They repeatedly moved around in the plane to consult with each other, another bright red flag.

Naturally, moonbats side with the imams. The insufferable Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee (D-TX) has been shrieking about "racial profiling, harassment and discrimination of Muslim and Arab Americans." The phrase "flying while Muslim" is being shouted with the same phony righteousness as "driving while black."

The imams hit the ground running with a lawsuit that they had apparently planned in advance. Was this the sole purpose of their outrageous behavior? Or is this part of the same intimidation campaign that has featured such absurd confrontations as the Cartoon Intifada?

Another possibility is that Muslims are deliberately disarming us in preparation for the next 9/11. When Jackson-Lee and friends have managed to make it illegal to so much as give an Arab a long look at the airport, it will be all the easier to fly a few more planes into buildings full of Americans.

In any case, you have to hand it to Muslims: they have certainly zeroed in on the West's Achilles' heel — although a blind man could see that political correctness is a gaping hole in our civilization's defenses.

Remember her and the party that produced her on the next 9/11.

There seems to be some contrast in terms of the setting and her WNBA t-shirt.

Everytime I tell people I'm from Texas I get on my knees and hope they don't realize that so is Jackson-Lee, the Texas' answer to Cynthia McKinney. And if anyone were to drive through her district, they would have to wonder why anyone elects her since she doesn't seem to make their lives any better.
She is a racist, race baiter, poverty pimping whore that should be jailed, not hailed.

It was obvious these Islamo-nuts planned the whole thing as well as the lawsuit. That was apparent from day 1 based on eyewitness statements by the passengers which reflect most of whats in this article. The seat belt extensions were the only thing that I hadnt heard before.

Every day Muslims fly and arent thrown off planes - except when they deliberately set out to screw with peoples minds. What they did was the equivalent of shouting "Ive got a bomb!" - even when people say it as a joke they are removed the plane - like the white guy with the penis pump a couple of months ago.

Jackson is and has always been a total asshat. Hopefully when the terrorists stike next she will be one of their victims instead of decent innocent people.

I was listening to Sean Hannity's show yesterday, and he had one of the passengers from the plane on. She was telling a much different story than you'll read or hear elsewhere. Of course, the MSM couldn't be bothered with actually interviewing any of the other passengers...they're too busy fawning over the poor Muslim "leaders" who have been discriminated against.

I know about this. However, I didn't know that moving near the exits was what hijackers do, though I suppose it makes sense. Before, I had just heard that they moved their seats to the front, middle and back of the plane, it didn't specify that they were near the exits.
This is definitely something to be concerned about.
Oh, and Pam, what did that passenger have to say?

Even if the imams were not trying to stir up trouble (and I don't buy that at all. When Laura Ingraham had one of their mouthpieces on yesterday, he completely dodged the question about what the hell were they doing with seatbelt extenders), even if they were, these are the same Muslim creeps who are always demanding other show sensitivity to Muslim feelings. Don't Muslims owe any sensitivity to the rest of the populace, e.g. people flying on airplanes in a post-911 environment?

There's no doubt in my mind, this was a feint. It served as a probe of airline security, but also to set the stage where we'd be silenced into inaction by political correctness. It's bad enough that the terrorists have seen how weak we are in that regard, it's even worse that we have Americans that are more than willing the assist them.

Adam, she was describing what actually happened: how the non-obese men asked for the belt extenders and placed them on the floor, how they all entered the plane when first class boarding took place (even though they weren't all assigned first class seats), the moving around...and how an Arabic-speaking woman understood what they were saying (insults to America, etc.). She also said that one of them was speaking in Arabic on a cell phone, and that it didn't sound like a casual conversation...it sounded like he was reporting to someone. Very clipped and formal, not one of those, "I'm bored at the airport" calls. Hannity had the woman on Hannity and Colmes last night as well, but I didn't get to see it. Perhaps you can find a video clip of her appearance.
