Multiculturalism Lays Claim to UGA Restrooms

The University of Georgia at Athens is the latest to designate "gender neutral" restrooms:

Michael Shutt, an assistant dean of students and director of the university's year-old Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Resource Center, said the move came out of safety and comfort concerns for transgender students.

Shutt frets that

there is always the chance that people can be harassed in restrooms if they don't look like they fit the norm and there can sometimes be assault or abuse in those cases.

Apparently there are still enough men on college campuses that if a guy wearing women's clothes starts exposing himself in the ladies room, somebody's boyfriend might be waiting for him when he comes out. It's nice to see that remnants of civilization still persist even within the ivory tower.

It appears he is afraid someone will fuck the Shutt up.

This is kind of of a piece with the falsified birth certificates they're giving out to lesbos. It's all about denial of reality. Two women can not father a baby, and if you were born with a sausage instead of a taco between your legs, you're not a woman, no matter how screwed up in the head you are.

It's really pathetic that our society chooses to accommodate mental illness instead of curing it. What's next, will people with multiple personalities be allowed to register each one as a separate voter? Wouldn't the Democrats love that.

VtheK, you always have great posts and opinions. I always agree with you, which is rare to find someone who is actually a real traditionalist who still believes in normal values for a society. This is sick beyond description, and it is sad that it is being allowed. People need to get really tired of this kind of garbage and squash this kind of thing.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but wouldn't
gender neutral restrooms actually increase the
number of assaults?

Actually, Chris, I'm a pretty sick individual. You should check out my blog sometime if you don't believe me.

And it's not that I don't have compassion for people who are 'transgendered.' I just don't see why its inhumane to suggest we should try to find some kind of therapeutic approach to teach the mind to accept the body it's in. What seems really barbarous and inhuman to me is to say the only solution is to subject such people to surgical genital mutilation coupled with massive doses of artificial hormones to create a crude facsimile of the body their mind thinks it belongs in.

Have you guys seen Time Bandits?

I've always like that movie, but someone I know once brought the movie up and its theme of good vs. evil. It was always there, obviously, but I didn't see it as I do now.

At the end of the movie, Kevin warns his parents:

Kevin: Mom! Dad! It's evil! Don't touch it!
[Kevin's parents explode]
Kevin: Mom? Dad?

Kevin warned his parents that it was evil, yet they reached for it anyway.

In the Bible, John 3:19 (NIV) says:

"This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil."

Van, you post so much stuff that illustrates this poignantly. Moonbattery is driven by evil, not good.

Please also see Romans 1:18-32.

Uh... OK. I stand corrected. If you are bragging that you are "sick," you aren't the type of person I thought you were at all. Most of the posters who read this site are moonbatty as well, it seems. I certainly have no compassion for freaks who want to change thier gender because they think gender is a "social construct." Compassion for this sort of thing is called moonbattery and that's why our society is the basket case it is and is in social and moral breakdown.

(Anonymous being me forgetting to type my name)
This is pretty similar to homosexuality in that is a conjuring of the Leftist activists to try to normalize what should not be normalized. This isn't about rights, it's about acceptance. Given the fact that there is no real, hardcore scientific support to the homo/tran/bi-sexuality mythology, they must fabricate it with thier supporters (Kinsey's misinformation, etc.) They're most likely not born that way.
