Michael Moore Smugly Gloats
Save this link in case you're low on motivation when the 2008 campaign season rolls around. It leads to a Michael Moore rant in which he smugly and condescendingly gloats over the liberal policies he believes the Dems' paper-thin Congressional majority will allow them to ram down the country's throat.
Here's what he has to say regarding the Second Amendment:
We will not take away your hunting guns. If you need an automatic weapon or a handgun to kill a bird or a deer, then you really aren't much of a hunter and you should, perhaps, pick up another sport.
If you didn't vote in 2006, 2008 will be a good time to imagine your home being invaded and your family killed because Michael Moore and friends don't trust you with a handgun.

The libs will never get it, the Second Amendment is not about hunting it is about the right to personal protection. Oh wait I forgot the government will always be there to keep me safe.

The word "hunting" is not in the 2nd Amendment.

You've got to be a very good hunter to cleanly hit a deer or a bird with a handgun instead of a rifle or shotgun.

On the other hand a handgun is very useful if you find a bear leering at you. Granted, it'll probably just make it mad but at least you can distract it long enough to run away...
