Once last year, as I was driving into work, I approached an intersection and moved into the left turn lane. As I did so, I saw an old pick-up truck driven by guess-what coming head-on toward me through the intersection in the opposite left-turn only lane. I had to swerve at the last nano-second to avoid a head-on collision.

But, hey, to George Bush and the Wall Street Journal, open borders are an unmitigated blessing with absolutely no negative consequences whatsoever.

I was stuck behind a city transit bus driver who went 3/4 of the way down the block when a garbage truck driven by a Mexican turned the corner facing the bus and refused to back up 50 feet or so to let the bus pass. Finally one of the passengers got off and called the cops and they forced this ahole to back up. I felt like getting out and telling him to go back to Mexico but I would probably have been arrested for racial comments, so I thought better of it when the cops showed up.

Guy I know in colorado is a self-confessed "spic", as he told my dad when we were out there a few years back*. He's an american citizen, second or third generation mexican immigrant, and he's proud of his country. He's also quite pissed off at the illegals getting a free ride when his family had to go through the rigmarole of naturalisation. I think his wife is Irish-descended but I never checked, not that it really matters...

Anyway, to answer the question, you can tell an illegal thus: the're the ones that turn in to a small spot on the horizon when you ask for their license and registration.

Imagine a tall, thin, bald white guy with white hair and a short, round mexican walking down the street together, best mates, insulting each other all the way and completely ignoring all the hypehnation crap certain elements wanted to force on them.
