Fate of Nation to Be Decided in Champaign County, Illinois
There is a lot at stake for Republicans and for America in general in next week's elections — especially in Champaign County, Illinois, where voters will decide on whether to impeach the President and Vice President and whether to surrender to the terrorists wreaking havoc in Iraq. Along with a suggested bond sale to finance a new fire station and a proposal to raise the maximum annual public library tax rate, the following referenda will be on the ballot:
Advisory Referendum To Impeach George W. Bush And Vice-President Richard Cheney
Shall the voters of Cunningham Township ask our representative to the U. S. House of Representatives to support articles of impeachment to remove George W. Bush and Richard Cheney from office for misleading our nation to war with Iraq, for permitting the illegal use of torture, and for conducting domestic spying on U. S. citizens in violation of the 4th Amendment to the U. S. Constitution and the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act?
Proposition That The United States Withdraw Military Personnel And Bases From Iraq
In order to halt the continuing loss of human life and resources necessary to meet human needs at home, shall the United States commence a humane, orderly, rapid and comprehensive withdrawal of United States military personnel and bases from Iraq?
Chose wisely, Champaign County voters! The fate of the nation is in your hands.
On a tip from Bill E.

In the hopes that I don't get censured for posting this, I will borrow a line from AttackCartoons:
They could win an award for the most time and money wasted in a pointless act of political masturbation.

A Middle Eastern man, holding a gun and wearing a belt full of explosives, and you just couldn't seem to figure out what his costume represented. I find this a little unbelievable that anyone can be that naive. At least be honest and state that you took the pictures to show others. A child could see that this costume represent s terrorist of some sort.

It's Champaign County - not to be confused with the wine.

Thanks Vonster. Now it's fixed.

To my amazement, these referenda all passed with 60-65% of the vote.

Terrifying. If Howard Dean had been running for President this year, he could have won.
