Breck Girl, Osama Obama Target Wal-Mart
While some frivolously worry about the spread of Islamic terrorism and the ongoing demographic conquest of the Southwest, others have found more ominous dragons to slay: like Wal-Mart.
Featherweight presidential hopefuls John "Breck Girl" Edwards and Barack "Osama bin Osama" Obama are pandering to the Left by addressing supporters of the United Food and Commercial Workers union front WakeUpWalMart.com, which is trying to bring the highly successful retailer to heel for being able to sell goods at such low prices by resisting unionization.
Only moonbats could object to wide selections and low prices. A Pew Research poll found that 70% of conservative and moderate Democrats view Wal-Mart favorably, but 53% of liberal Democrats dislike the company. The farther left you venture to go, the higher Wal-Mart's disapproval ratings are likely to rise.
United Food and Commercial Workers has decided that it ought to be in charge of Wal-Mart's work scheduling, pay scale, etc., and is counting on socialistic politicians to help them bring down the retail giant.

On a tip from Wiggins.

On a related note, one of Edwards' volunteers tried to get a PS3 for his kid from a local WalMart, using the Breck Girl's name. Of course, Edwards says it was an error, that the volunteer didn't know about Edwards' stance on WalMart.

Here's a bit that sticks out from the article:
Edwards, the Democrats' vice presidential candidate in 2004, spoke Wednesday to supporters of union-backed WakeUpWalMart.com on a conference call launching the group's holiday season campaign to pressure Wal-Mart for better labor standards.
In the call, he repeated a story about his son Jack disapproving of a classmate buying sneakers at Wal-Mart. "If a 6-year-old can figure it out, America can definitely figure this out," Edwards said.
Sure, if all he hears at home is how lousy WalMart is.

More like, his rich spoiled brat kid picked on a kid whose dad isn't a wealthy ambulance chaser by teasing him for not wearing upscale shoes.

That sounds more plausible than the idea of a kid that young having a social conscience beyond "I don't like you, so anything you do is wrong!"
Of course, many of the left never really graduated from first grade in that regard...

This is a clear indication of what liberals REALLY think of the down-trodden working class they claim to represent. Nothing but pawns to socialist jerks.

Yeah, to the left-libs, someone on welfare is a hero, but somebody working at Wal-Mart is a sap.
Actually, considering how libs run the welfare system, they may have a point.

I agree 100% VtheK. Limousine Liberals are socialists for everybody else, but not usually for themselves.

Our education system has been so dummed-down that people today can't even see the paradoxes of the liberals.
1) Unionize companies like Wal-Mart
2) Raise wages for all employees
3) Raise the minimum wage
There, now we've got everyone making more money.
4) Wal-Mart and other companies across the country raise the price of goods and services to pay for the higher wages
5) Inflation results
6) Lower income people can no longer afford to shop at Wal-Mart and stop buying many goods and services they used to buy because of inflation
7) Competitors take Wal-Mart's place as the low-cost store
8) Wal-Mart goes out of business
9) Wal-Mart employees have to find other jobs
Now, economically we're back to where we started
10) Liberals proclaim they raised everyone's salary
11) Liberals proclaim inflation is all Bush's fault.
