A Frightening Glimpse Into the Mentality of Nancy Pelosi's Constituents

This should give some insight into the political climate in San Francisco, which produced our new Speaker of the House:
San Francisco had a measure on the ballot effectively calling for the 2004 election to be rescinded and for Congress to take control of the Executive Branch. President Bush and Vice President Cheney would be removed from office on unspecified grounds.
Despite the fact that it is unthinkable that any reasonable person would support such a blatantly antidemocratic measure, regardless of their animosity toward the President, it passed overwhelmingly, 59.4% to 40.6%.
These are the same voters who elected Pelosi. There is going to be more moonbattery in Washington for the next two years than you can shake both your fists at.
