"Warm and Personable" Charles Rangel Calls Vice President an SOB
Giving a preview of the tone we will have in Washington if Democrats succeed in taking over Congress, potential Chairman of the very powerful Ways and Means Committee Charles Rangel has blown his top again, publicly calling the Vice President a "son of a bitch."
The outburst was triggered when Cheney pointed out that if Congress does fall and Rangel takes control of the Ways and Means Committee, Bush's tax cuts are unlikely to be extended. The effect would be tax increases of over $1 trillion, with disastrous results for the economy. Cheney also observed that Rangel "doesn't understand how the economy works."
Rather than attempt to debate economic issues, Rangel pandered to his troglodyte base by calling Cheney names, while describing himself as "warm and personable." Rangel's juvenile putdowns included a suggestion that Cheney go into "rehab" to correct "whatever personality deficit he may have suffered."
When asked if he was again accusing the Vice President of being mentally ill, Rangel offered his own manifestation of mental illness with this line:
I don't think he's shot anyone in the face lately, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
This warm and personable remark refers to a hunting accident in which Cheney peppered his friend with a few shotgun pellets.
Past assaults by Rangel on the Vice President have included statements like these:
I would like to believe he's sick rather than just mean and evil. [...] Sometimes I don't even think Cheney is awake enough to know what's going on. Rumsfeld is the guy in Washington [...] running the country.
Trying to debate people of Rangel's caliber would be like putting forth reasoned arguments during a food fight in a junior high cafeteria. Yet it will be people like this who hold our economic fate in their hands if we do not choose wisely in next week's elections.

The only people we have to blame for this disgusting sycophant
are those who vote him in repeatedly. When we stop putting these know-nothing big-mouthed parasites in office, then our laws and economy will no longer be held hostage by this satanic minion and his brethren.

How DO the Democrats attract so many people able to speak so clearly with their feet in their mouths up to the thigh?

I believe part of the problem with our country is that so many dems blindly follow their leaders, and when their leaders lower themselves, then dem voters who might have once had higher morals are willing to lower their own morals to continue to back the party they believe is right.

When Hitler wasn't exterminating millions of Jews and gays, he was pretty "warm and personable", too...if you could just get past that whole genoicidal maniac thingy.
