The Price of Telling the Truth in France
French philosophy teacher Robert Redeker is now living on the run. He has been forced to leave his job, and to search out safe houses in which he can hide his family from Muslims who have promised to kill them. Redeker's crime: observing that Islam is violent, and that it is imposing itself on Europe.
Redeker was reckless enough to note in a Le Figaro op-ed that Islam "exalts violence," that Mohammad was a "warlord without pity, a pillager, someone who massacres Jews and a polygamist," and that "[h]atred and violence reside in the book by which all Muslims are educated, the Koran." He also complained about encroaching dhimmitude:
Islam is trying to force Europe to bend to its vision of mankind. As in the past with communism, the West finds itself under ideological surveillance.
In response, an Islamic website published Redeker's photo, phone number, and address, with directions. Death threats poured in via telephone and email, proving Redeker's point beyond dispute. But that will be a small consolation if they hunt him down and slit his throat, along with the rest of his family.
Police are offering him some protection, but he has to come up with his own safe houses. Education minister Gilles de Robien feels "solidarity" with Redeker, yet chides that "government employees must show prudence and moderation." In other words, if you risk your neck by angering the Muslim savages who are emerging as Europe's future masters, you have only yourself to blame.

What surprises me is that the French government doesn't do more to protect him. The French are so well known to be strong, sturdy, backboned individuals.

What should happen is about a hundred or so muslim imams should be rounded up and shot to death with bullets dipped in pigs blood. With the stern warning that a crop duster will fly over moques and spray them with pigs blood and the military would destroy it for good measure. Now that would make them shut up.

I have time for immigrants and different creeds, cultures and races. I'm not an -ist. However, this is as long as they are Hindu, Buddhist, Shintoist, of some Christian denomination, Zooroastrian, Pagan, Greek, Roman etc etc etc; anything but Muslim. The one area where my tolerance falls down is Islam. and I don't mind admitting it. If we keep pandering to this lot and accepting them on an equal footing and more! - Then we will loose. Once they have a grip on anything, they take over and the religion takes first place; over rhyme, reason, dialogue and democracy. If you are going to call me any kind of -ist, you can call me a Muslimist: I've had it with them beyond the back teeth. The way things are going there just isn't any point in pretending that I like anything they stand for; sooner or later People who don't want to fight will be forced to. It really is going that way.
