Pro-Terrorist Moonbat Rally in Brooklyn Fizzles
A coalition of 24 extremist sects combined to draw a total of 70 pro-terrorist demonstrators at a rally in Brooklyn yesterday in honor of the 6th anniversary of Yasser Arafat's al-Aqsa Intifada. El Marco came back with some photos that illustrate what sort of people — other than journalists and Democratic politicians — fail to understand who the bad guys are in the struggle between civilization and Islamic terrorists. A few examples:

There were also a few counterprotesters. LGF operative Peter Verkooijen is owed the highest honors for showing up in a Mohammad cartoon t-shirt with an American flag draped over his shoulders. He came back with video of the moonbats' reaction.

The best thing about moonbats is the moral compass they provide. Whatever the issue — Muslim terrorism, low-life cop-killers, communism — you can be sure they will always point to due wrong.

The funny thing about "communists and Muslims unite" is that if the Muslims were to gain the political power these people apparently want them to have, communists (being atheists) will be the first to be executed after the Jews.

Imagine lying on the couch on a Sunday afternoon, with the love of your life by your side, a cigar in one hand and a cup of coffee on the coffee table, and the only thing you had to read was Workers Vanguard. No wonder these guys always look so depressed.

Those pics were surprising. It seems I saw just that sort of flotsam in Nicaragua in 1983. The so-called revolution was going on then. The contras were causing mischief and Reagan was president. These moonbats---I love that term!---would congregate at the US Embassy in Managua and take turns weeping into a microphone---I kid you not---about the horrors of the US, of Reagan, of anything.
It was great theater, and some of those leftists girls were cute. But they did not bathe enough for my tastes. They still don't.

And another thing: What is it about Communists and newspapers? Thats so 20th century. Don't these people have blogs?
Free advice: Never buy a paper with any of the following words in the title: Strike, Attack, Worker, Vanguard, People, People's, Peoples, Class, Revolution, or Underground.

That's assuming that under a communist regime you can even get coffee or cigars and that you're allowed to lounge on your couch (let alone own "your" couch) on a Sunday.

Yet another wonderful article at 'Gates of Vienna' about the West's Suicide-by-Moonbattery.

Grrr....
no wearing the US Flag. Thats seriously disrespectful. I don't like it when athletes do it and I'm not above pointing out to people who should know better.
Other than that, is anyone else surprised that these idiots exist? While I was at the University of South Florida, after it was revealed adjunct professor Rammadan Abdullah Shallah was one of the heads of the Islamic Jihad, there were assholes students emailing him and praising him. They couldn't understand that the fragger had people blown up! And this was 11 years ago.
Funny, the House Un-American Activities Committee, prior to our official involvement in the Second World War, went after pro-Nazi groups in the US. Funny how the Communist Party in the US helped HUAC only to be turned on (and rightfully so) during the 1950s. Whats good for the Goose is good for the Gander.

Bob Smith,
It already happened at least once. The Communists of Iran helped Khomeini depose the Shah ("uniting against the oppressive ruler"--sounds familiar, no?), and after that, during the 1980's, Khomeini had them executed by the thousands.
And the Communists, for their part, if they succeeded, would offer their Muslim allies the choice of participating in the Marxist dialectic or vacationing in a gulag. This alliance is the quintessential "covenant of the damned".

Here's the absurdity of their choice. Imagine any of them on the Monty Hall Show or The Price Is Right:
"Behind door number one we have life in a democratic republic with free enterprise where you are free to become whatever your talents and efforts can make of yourself and you can keep a good chunk of the wealth you create. You are also free to worship in any manner you wish as long as it doesn't infringe upon other's rights"
"Behind door number two we have life in a democratic socialist society where you are somewhat free to become whatever your talents and efforts can make of youself. You can keep a little of what you make but you'll never have to worry about failing. If you do we'll take from others to take care of you. You are also free to worship as you wish as long as you don't infringe on other's rights."
"And finally, behind door number three we have life in a communist society where you will become whatever we tell you. We will keep you in abject poverty and imprison you if you protest. You cannot worship anything but the the state."
"Ahh... I'll take door number three Monty/Bob."
The idea of a Communist-Islamic convergence is as oxymoronic as the notion of a Modern-Islamic state.

"BLACK POWER!"
Anyone else hear that during the first confrontation with Peter Verkooijen?
What an interesting group of allies.
