Muslim Conquest of France Reaching Level of Civil War
The undeclared Muslim intifada in France now injures an average of 14 police officers every day. According to the interior ministry, nearly 2,500 officers have been wounded so far this year.
Muslims in France are heavily involved in drug trafficking and other crimes, but when police attempt to arrest them, they are set upon by ululating mobs. It is unsafe for French police to patrol in pairs or small groups.
In a letter to interior minister Nicolas Sarkozy, Michel Thoomis of the Action Police trade union writes:
We are in a state of civil war, orchestrated by radical Islamists. This is not a question of urban violence any more, it is an intifada, with stones and Molotov cocktails. You no longer see two or three youths confronting police, you see whole tower blocks emptying into the streets to set their "comrades" free when they are arrested.
We need armoured vehicles and water cannon. They are the only things that can disperse crowds of hundreds of people who are trying to kill police and burn their vehicles.
However, others keep their heads wedged deep in the sand. Gerard Demarcq of the police union Alliance pooh-poohs the notion of an intifada, and actually claims that increasing attacks on officers are proof that the police are successfully "retaking territory" from Muslim gangs.
In Les Mureaux, where an attempt to arrest an Arab for not wearing his seatbelt resulted in chaos last weekend, mayor Francois Garay complains that aggressive police tactics — i.e., not allowing France to devolve into total anarchy — afterwards leaves "the people on the ground to pick up the pieces."

On a tip from Wiggins.

Could be. Then we get to see if the French military has any stomach.
