Job Opening At Greece, New York Chamber of Commerce
Last summer a man named Skip Beaver was appointed president of the Greece, New York Chamber of Commerce. But he's already been dismissed, after getting arrested for indulging in his beaver-free proclivities with another guy in a pavilion in Genesee Valley Park.
Public sex takes place in many Monroe County parks, police said, most often at Genesee Valley and Durand-Eastman parks. Most frequently, but not always, the participants are men.
Getting caught by patrolling cops usually results in a misdemeanor charge of public lewdness. Often the cases are plea-bargained down to disorderly conduct, which is a violation. Monroe County Assistant District Attorney William T. Gargan is quick to assure that people are arrested for public lewdness without "an eye toward caring about anyone's sexual orientation."
Social worker and sex therapist Bill Kelly has counseled dozens of men who have engaged in similar activity. He says some do it in public parks because they're afraid to at home, while others get a thrill out of the "novelty."
No word on which camp Skip Beaver falls into.
On a tip from Bill.

We had a sting here in Kansas City awhile back, at, of all places, a park near Liberty Memorial, a World War I monument.
There were the usual cries about harassment of homosexuals. Seeing as how all of the people were men seeking anonymous sex with other men, it couldn't be anything but that.
What is it about that group?

"skip beaver". How appropriate.
One's name is destiny eh?
