Gorbachev Denounces Border Wall
The Cold War's sore loser Mikhail Gorbachev still doesn't want to fade away gracefully. Yesterday he paid a call on Midland, Texas, where he compared a proposed 700-mile wall to help defend our border to the Berlin Wall that Reagan famously asked him to tear down.
Having utterly failed at running his own country, Gorby has decided to help us run ours:
I think what is really needed are ideas and proposals about how to improve that cooperation and work out all of those issues regarding immigration flows. I don't think the U.S. is so weak and so much lacks confidence as not to be able to find a different solution.
Mixing his snarky jibes in with the Al-Gore–style global warming hysteria he has taken to spewing, Gorby bizarrely remarked,
Maybe if global warming results in melting the ice in Greenland, there will be an island where those who would like to separate themselves from the rest of the world could live.
He also managed to blame Bush for Russia's problems:
As for economic, political and religious freedoms, we can say our country has pulled itself out of the past and is a free country. Unfortunately, there are some in the world who would not want Russia to move rapidly and stand on its feet and be a strong country, including quite a few people in this country and the administration.
Actually Russia, where journalists keep turning up dead, and where an ex-KGB man continues to consolidate control, really is a free country — compared to what it was under Gorbachev's communist thumb.
At the risk of belaboring the obvious, there is a difference between a wall built by communists to keep slaves from escaping, and a wall built by a free country to defend itself from invasion — similar to the difference between Gorbachev and his old nemesis Ronald Reagan. Naturally Gorby is the one who got the Nobel Peace Prize.

Perhaps Gorby can recommend some retired East German and Soviet army engineers to design our border walls. We'll just have to remind them that we want the business side pointing OUT, not in.

Why does Gorby have map of North and South Korea on his head?
This nut obviously sees no difference between a fence designed to keep terrorists and illegals OUT vs. the communist fence to keep people IN.
I wonder why he doesnt criticize planned fences Saudi Arabia is planning to build on the Iraqi border and the one China is planning for the North Korean border to keep refugees from fleeing to China after North Koreas collapses.

China has been building a massive barbed wire and concrete fence along parts of its border with North Korea in the most visible sign of Beijing’s strained ties with its once-cozy communist neighbor.
Scores of soldiers have descended on farmland near the border-marking Yalu River to erect concrete barriers 2.5 to 4 meters (8 to 15 feet) tall and string barbed wire between them, farmers and visitors to the area said.
Last week, they reached Hushan, a collection of villages 20 kilometers (12 miles) inland from the border port of Dandong.
“About 100 People’s Liberation Army soldiers in camouflage started building the fence four days ago and finished it yesterday,” said a farmer, who only gave his surname, Ai. “I assume it was built to prevent smuggling and illegal crossing.”

Too bad Gorby and his fellow moonbat Nobel recipient Dhimmi Carter have not followed the diseased, murdering bastard recepient, Arafat to their final reward yet. Obviously, the Nobel Peace Prize is a joke when it includes the likes of these individuals
