Child-Molesting Homosexual Congressman Gerry Studds Is Dead
Rep. Gerry Studds has died of a blood clot in his lung. According to his husband (yes you read that correctly; he's from Massachusetts):
He gave people of his generation, or my generation, of future generations, the courage to do whatever they wanted to do.
Having the courage to do whatever you want to do in Studds' case meant molesting underage boys. In 1983, Studds acknowledged committing statutory rape against a 17-year-old page and making advances toward two others (although he refused to apologize).
Because he only committed rape and didn't do anything serious like send perverted text messages, but mainly because he is a Democrat, he was not immediately driven out of his party like Mark Foley, but was reelected repeatedly even after his admission. He didn't retire from Congress until 1997.
Since this is the sort of behavior people have come to expect from Democrats, Studds was only censured, not forced to resign, much less thrown in jail where he belonged. Needless to say, the media didn't use his behavior as the basis of a propaganda campaign designed to tip the next Congressional election to Republicans.

Damn, finally, after a full week of downbeat news on the state of the world, a little brevity, a little dare I say, uplifting moment.

He not only remained an honored Democrat until the end, they named a Marine Sanctuary in Massachussetts after him.
Sex pradators are welcome in the Democrat party.

Gerry Studds, in his own words
"While we were discussing the ramifications of what was then the recent implementation of the military's Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy, the broader issue of America's perception of gay people, and the inherent issues and costs of being in the closet couldn't be more relevant today, given the Mark Foley scandal and its attendant issues. I believe the congressman's observations of twelve years ago still resonate in an interesting way, revealing how we've progressed in small ways, but remain tragically stagnant in our thinking.
And since his name has been dredged up by those attempting to smear his legacy of late, and he obviously being either too ill or too dignified to defend himself, I thought his own insight, wisdom and clarity paint a very different self-awareness when weighed up against some coward hiding in rehab, making every excuse under the sun, blaming everyone but himself."

Why is it that bigots and hatemongers are such bad spellers? And, are you guys aware that homophobes are most likely acting out some sort of sexual anxiety of their own? You know, I if beat up a fag, no one will suspect I have these feelings... Guys, it says much more about you -and what it says is that you're insecure about your own sexuality- than it does about your intended victims, who, frankly, pity you.

So anyone who disapproves of a Congressman raping little boys is secretly homosexual. Thanks for the moonbat psychoanalysis.

When I was 17 I was a sexually active, strong young man, not a little boy. At 17, did your Mommy used to go with you on dates to hold your little bitty hand Van Helsing?

Teenage boys on "dates" with Democratic Congressmen don't need their mommies to protect them, they need the police.
