Revealed on Huffington Post: Bush Killed Steve Irwin

Although many networks and papers have covered Irwin's death from every possible angle, no one has really asked the most important question of all: Why did the stingray attack him in the first place?
The unspeakable truth: it was the warming waters of the sea that caused the transformation of the stingray's behavior - from its natural, docile mood to the demeanor of a crazed, heartless killer. The warming waters, as you already can guess, were caused by increasing global temperatures - an alarming phenomenon continually ignored by the one person really responsible for all of this: George Bush, our so-called President.
Steve Irwin may be the first death caused by a stingray - but it won't be the last. As sea temperatures increase, thanks to the Bu$h/Cheney cabal, do not be surprised if you see millions of green turtles, starfish, hermit crabs, sea slugs, urchins - plus an odd seahorse or two - rising from the depths to exact revenge on all that is human and at fault for the current state of the world.
Let us hope that they only target the "Repuglicans."

Well now I'm convinced: Huffington is a satirical website parodying the worst excesses of MoveOn.org and the New York Times. There's no other explanation.

Actually, Gutfeld's one of the good guys; check out the rest of his posts.
He's really the only sane one at the HuffPo and gets lambasted for it in the comments.
The post in question, like many of his others, is him poking a stick at the 'bats.

When I saw someone on a Yahoo News message board say , jokingly, that Global Warming ticked off the Stingray and made it kill Steve Irwin a couple of days ago, I laughed and said even Al Gore wouldnt say such a goofy thing. WOW! After seeing this story. Ummmmmmm. I guess I was forgetting about this doofus.

I have been enjoying you for about a year now through your RSS feed via BlogLines, and this is the first guffaw I've seen you make...and it's a doozy.
Greg Gutfield is the token conservative on the blog, and spends his time skewering the resident 'bats with sharp satire...just read the comments of his posts to watch them whine and seeth at the fact he is allowed to even post.

The untimely passing of Steve Irwin is a great tragedy. This has effected my family more than I could have imagined; he has been a great influence on myself and my two boys. The world will never be the same. In the past, I have dealt with this type of emotional pain through music. Being a song writer and composer, I have written musical compositions and songs to honour friends, family, and fallen heroes to ease the pain and commemorate the contributions they've made in life. Steve falls under the obvious catagory of "HERO." Please accept and share with the world this musical tribute in honour of the great "CROCODILE HUNTER" Steve Irwin.. WE LOVE YOU STEVE!!
