Madrid Bans Skinny Models

Arguably the world's leader in dhimmitude, Spain is also making its mark in nanny state moonbattery, Madrid having banned skinny models from a big upcoming fashion show in order to

help ensure public opinion does not associate fashion, and fashion shows in particular, with an increase in anorexia, a disease which, along with bulimia, is considered ... as a mental and behavioral problem.

About a third of the models who participated in last year's Pasarela Cibeles will have to sit it out this time because they don't weigh enough to suit Spanish bureauweenies, who have decreed that models must have a minimum height–weight ratio of 18 to qualify as politically correct.

Maybe they should ban models with silly hair.

I love skinny chicks. When they slap you it hurts less.

Yeah, it's the only thing stopping her looking like a pre-teen.

I prefer women to have a bit of substance to them but this is hardly an area where the government should be getting involved.
