Kerry Taunts Swift Boat Vets
Incredibly, Hanoi John Kerry is still running for President, despite the word LOSER flashing neon-bright across his botoxed forehead. He's been up in New Hampshire campaigning and baiting the vets with whom he very briefly served in Vietnam before coming home to devote himself to undermining the war effort.
When asked if he feared being "Swift-Boated" — i.e., called to account for lying about his military service by people who were there — Kerry sneered:
I'm prepared to kick their ass from one end of America to the other.
No doubt he would have done the same to Charlie, except that he had to get home after a few months to attend hippie rallies at which he denounced those who stayed behind to fight as war criminals.
John O'Neill, a Vietnam vet who wrote the highly informative "Unfit for Command," was less than impressed by Kerry's taunts. Referring to the tour of duty that Hanoi John managed to drastically curtail by gaming the system for Purple Hearts for the sort of injuries you might sustain if you're not careful shaving, O'Neill chuckled:
Well, he's got eight times as much time to prepare for us as he spent in Vietnam.
Of course, Kerry could settle the issue of his war record once and for all by releasing it to the public — the whole thing, not just bits and pieces to sympathetic left-wing media outlets.
But that would be a drastic change of style for a guy obviously set in his ways. For example, he now supports a timetable for surrender in Iraq, despite opposing it last year. Shrugs Jean François:
I don't see that as a contradiction.
Not at all — it's just Kerry being Kerry.

ron, what conservatives bad mouth the troops?? Which ones refer to them as baby killers? How about the hippie seed that now infests the anti-war wing of the democratic party. One don't question the intentions of a hippie though. They might bite.
Anyway, kerry was given the presidency on a silver platter by the media and he couldn't win. I doubt he will make it out of the primaries. Most dems I know thought very poorly for him.

Swifties are heroes.
Kerry is a wealthy scum bag who married a ketchup queen.
After the things he said at the Winter Soldier hearings he turned into a traitor. And thats why he lost. All that other saying one thing and doing another was just icing on the cake.
Besides he looks like Lerch from the Addams Family.

I once heard a comedian (I can't remember which one) refer to Kerry's physcial appearance as "the most dog-like human he had ever seen."
On a serious note, most people probably don't know this, but the "Winter Soldier" hearings were filmed for a documentary. "Winter Soldier" is now on DVD. I've seen it. He's in the film for about 20 seconds, and his name is listed in the credits. Check it out. Find that lost link to Kerry's past.

I read the article. Kerry tried so hard to sound like a regular guy, swearing and eating (homemade?) chocolate chip cookies. I guess he realizes his true snooty demeanor lost him some votes in addition to his lying.

Bored, I was referring to the Swifties. Their entire campaign was based on the premise that the US Navy was lying about Kerry. The Navy issued several statements during the campaign denouncing the Swifties' claims, and the Swifties simply told people to put on their tin foil hats and ignore the "conspiracy" by Navy brass to protect Kerry.
The Navy was not at all happy with the constant beating they took from the Swifties in 2004.

Kerry is history. Hillary can't get the nomination either. She's just too loathsome. I'm guessing Gore--he hits the right amount of looniness for this current pack of leftists. JFK and Truman roll in their graves.

The Navy did not "denounce" the Swift Boat Vets claims, they merely stated that their allegations were not supported by what was in the Naval records. These records have been shown to have been falsified both in their creation and in subsequent alterations.
The Swift Boat Vets did not accuse the Navy of lying, but rather pointed out that the Navy had been lied to by John Kerry.

Ron, I recall many of them admitting to have voted for Gore in 2000. Not liking kerry certainly does not make you a conservative.
Kerry was a poor choice for the democrats. They had to have known his past would would do more bad then good for him.

I will give you facts john kerry will never be president of the united states of america , you see to many people know that john kerry is not
mentally sound enough to be president that,s why he will not make his medical record public he dont want anyone to know how many times he had to visit the psyc.
