Google's Special 9/11 Tribute
Google shows a lot of creativity in the special logos they put up on significant days.
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Birthday:

Birthday of Percival Lowell (I don't know who he is either):

Lunar New Year:

And of course, Persian (i.e., Iranian) New Year:

Here's their special logo to commemorate 9/11:

Very subtle and understated, don't you think? Coincidentally, it's the same one they use on Memorial Day.
By the way, congrats to Google for their 100% pro-moonbat rating on BuyBlue.org.
On a tip from Metalgarth.

For what its worth, Ask.com DID have a 9/11 tribute on its site. Perhaps its time for people to update their bookmarks?

Good catch. I'm going try using that one for awhile. Yahoo had relevant news stories/pictures on it's home page as well.

Dogpile had a very nice 9-11 logo on their website.
