George Michael Falls Back on Moonbattery

George Michael attempting to take himself seriously.

Rather than gracefully fade away into well-deserved oblivion, ex-Wham! pop singer George Michael has joined the ranks of has-been musicians who resort to conspicuous moonbattery to generate interest in their moribund careers.

Michael is touring for the first time in 15 years. He doesn't have a new album to promote, but his props ought to put Neil Young's rusty flower child politicking to shame. Here's how Daily Mail describes the on-stage gimmicks that accompany a pacifist diatribe entitled "Shoot the Dog":

[...] as he belted out the anti-war number, which portrayed Tony Blair as George Bush's poodle, a cartoon backdrop showing Bush, Blair and the Prime Minister's wife, Cherie, in bed together, emerged.
[...] An enormous balloon, a grotesque cartoon version of the American President, rose out of the centre of the stage, hovering menacingly above the singer.
When the star leaned down to unzip the balloon's trousers, out popped a British bulldog draped with the UK flag.
The dog was stuck to the balloon's inflated crotch, wagging its tail.

It remains to be seen whether Michael's moonbat pandering will earn him as much attention as his 1998 arrest for engaging in a lewd homosexual act in a Los Angeles men's room, or even his arrest earlier this year for falling asleep at the wheel while evidently under the influence of narcotics.

Congrats to W for so reliably earning the disapproval of the sort of people you would hate to have to agree with about anything.

But, he wants your sex (in a public men's restroom, anyway).

Ha, you do him too much justice by showing an old picture of Georgie. Try this one:

I guess that since George Michael's career has sunk lower than even the Dixie Chicks, the only way he figures he can appeal to any sort of audience is to jump on to the Bash Bush bandwagon, in hopes of gaining fans of the mentally handicapped leftwing moonbats
