Dutch Teens Turn to Suicide

The culture of death continues to deteriorate in progressive Holland, where suicide has become a hot fad among teens.

Fretting authorities blame peer pressure and the Internet, but the roots of this morbid trend are to be found in the Dutch embrace of euthanasia, which has already led to the execution of unhealthy babies.

As Colleen Carroll Campbell observes,

The radical and sweeping embrace of suicide as an answer to the problem of human suffering, and the elevation of euthanasia to the status of a basic human right, has convinced Dutch teenagers that suicide must be a noble act, the kind that wins plaudits, prestige, and even legal protection.

Hopefully this is not a metaphor for the suicide by inaction of Dutch civilization. Unless the Dutch act resolutely in the near future, an Arabic-speaking, Muslim theocracy will replace the Netherlands.

When faced with a painful crisis, is it better to struggle, or simply to die? Sanity offers one answer, moonbattery another.

Thank for the tip. The other day, My 15 year old said, sort of out-of-nowhere the other day, "I love life." Made me feel great. Especially when you consider all the sh*t he went through in foster care and before that.
