Dem Wants ABC Prosecuted for Showing "Path to 9/11"

I hope you enjoyed the final installment of "Path to 9/11" last night. For a TV miniseries it was surprisingly good. I'll be looking for it on DVD — provided of course Democrats don't still manage to have it banned.

Ohio's Charles Sanders, a Democratic candidate for Congress, is so incensed that ABC/Disney would run a miniseries that doesn't whitewash the Clinton Administration's refusal to confront the growing menace of Muslim terrorism that he has been calling for the company to be prosecuted for supposed Federal Election Commission violations.

Absurdly characterizing the ABC that gave us the prominent moonbat Peter Jennings as having "extreme right wing pals," Sanders invites the public to use a handy form to submit a letter of complaint to parent company Disney, the FEC, your local paper, your U.S. Senators, and your Congressional rep with the title "Prosecute ABC/Disney For Campaign Finance Law Violations."

As you know if you saw the miniseries, it is no hatchet job. It points out that due to political correctness, incompetence, and apathy, the Clinton Administration effectively encouraged the escalation of Islamic violence against the USA. Dems may quibble over details, but this overall picture is historical fact and not subject to argument — which is why Democrats tried so hard to get the piece suppressed.

"Path to 9/11" doesn't cast the Bush Administration in a favorable light either, but conservatives do not expect to be fawned over by the mainstream media, nor do they endorse political censorship — which is the main reason John McCain does not qualify as a conservative.

That a Democrat congressional candidate would try to use campaign finance law to intimidate a major media company for releasing something deemed by Dems to reflect poorly on Bubba underscores two critical points:

  1. Democrats are not the kind of people you want in positions of power.
  2. Either we repeal the terrifying abomination known as McCain–Feingold campaign finance reform, or we repeal the First Amendment; they cannot coexist.

Kudos to ABC for having the backbone to show the miniseries, revisions or no revisions. I hope their spine will hold up if thugs like Harry Reid end up controlling the Senate.

One of the definitions of fascism - forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism.

Dems are losing it.
