September 11 Conspiracy Conference Makes It to C-SPAN

Over the weekend C-SPAN did its part to mainstream paranoid psychosis in our political discourse by televising lowlights of the American Scholars Symposium (ASS), featuring pioneers on the frontier of tinfoil hat moonbattery's outer fringe.

The point of the symposium was to drive home the belief that the infamous events of September 11, innumerable eyewitness accounts notwithstanding, were not terrorist attacks but a series of atrocities staged by the United States Government.

Speakers included conspiracy theorists James Fetzer, Steven Jones, Bob Bowman, Alex Jones, and Webster Tarpley — certifiable lunatics each of them, as the hyperlinks will attest. By the way, Bowman is running for Congress (as a Democrat — surprised?).

Alex Jones' Infowars.com explains the significance of C-SPAN televising this sideshow:

Preaching to the choir is a method best left in the past and the C-Span airing is a positive step towards reaching out and educating those who remain in the dark about the staggering volume of evidence which clearly indicates that the official story behind 9/11 is a fraud.
The distinction, background and high esteem of the speakers at the conference, coupled with C-Span's notable reputation as a bellwether of the mainstream body politic, provides for a perfect symbiosis to advance the credibility and critical acclaim of the 9/11 truth movement as something far weightier and more influential than a cadre of conspiracy theorists — a label still peddled by fading elements of the blowhard establishment press.

But no doubt the "blowhard establishment press" will soon come around and start implying on the nightly news that the Bush Administration was behind 9/11. After all, a prominent actor, a Democratic Congresswoman, the Chairman of the Democratic National Committee, and now C-SPAN have tested the water for them.

Yeah yeah, ok.

Next thing they'll be telling us is that we lost WWII and that Pearl Harbor was an atrocity staged by the US government.

All in an attempt to bring down a president who has given them largely what they wanted, save a (D) next to his name.

Oh my gosh, I am so glad you posted about this.

Late and I do mean late hahaha last night or the night before I was going through the channels right before falling asleep and whew ........ there was the American Scholars Symposium.

So of course I listened and watched for as long as I could. Till I got so angry that I knew I would have nightmares about all the freaks that I had just heard speak.

Watching it I kept thinking NO one will believe me when I tell them about this. I know these kind of people exist but when I see them like that it is just so shocking every time.

Was it an accident all US Carriers and their escorts were at sea while the clunky old battleships were kept in port on Dec 7th, 1941? And why was the nuclear aircraft carrier USS Nimitz in the area 40 years before it was launched? hmmmmmmmmm? LOL!

""And why was the nuclear aircraft carrier USS Nimitz in the area 40 years before it was launched? hmmmmmmmmm? LOL!""

Hey, that was a cool movie, speaking of which, got a great DVD release not too terribly long ago. Remastered and widescreen.

Anyway, the tin-foil hat brigade, yeah. What a bunch of drips.

Enough blather! We need to elect Bowman to Congress.

Yes yes, I know. Tin foil hat. I'm crazy. Blah blah blah. The following link is for those who can think for themselves.
