Muslim–Moonbat Dyad Hits D.C.

While some Muslims plot to blow up airliners full of people or Michigan's beautiful Mackinac Bridge, others attack from the other flank by staging demonstrations against the USA and its allies. Even as the chilling details of their most recent schemes of mass murder and sabotage come to light, Muslims had the staggering gall to stage a rally across from the White House yesterday. As usual, they were joined by radical leftists, for whom Islam has replaced communism as the best hope for destroying America and all that it represents.
Here's how the sympathetic New York Times describes the "thousands" of participants:
The diverse crowd included many Arab-Americans and Muslims, college students and families, as well as veterans of prior demonstrations against the war in Iraq.
In other words, it was another manifestation of the same Muslim–moonbat alliance that we have been seeing so much of lately.
The content was the usual: Israel commits war crimes by defending itself from Muslim terrorists, Israel should get out of Lebanon and just let the rockets fired from there blow them to bits, "Palestine" should be freed by replacing a Jewish democracy with a Muslim police state, Israelis are the terrorists, etc. Naturally the protesters were opposed to American support for Israel and for the nascent democracy in Iraq.
Several speakers denounced President Bush for admitting that the legions of bloodthirsty maniacs who are trying to kill as many of us as they can with an ultimate objective of obliterating our civilization are Muslims. Giving new meaning to the word "chutzpah," Mahdi Bray of the Muslim American Society Freedom Foundation declared that Mr. Bush owes Muslims an apology.
They just tried to blow up 10 transatlantic jets full of people and to destroy the bridge linking the peninsulas of Michigan. But our President owes them an apology.
"There is no Islamic fascism," Bray brayed, objecting to Bush's phrase, "Islamic fascists."
That's the thanks W gets for speaking in euphemisms. He should have just said "Muslims." They aren't fascists — fascists at least could make trains run on time.
The shady Gray Lady mentions offhand that ANSWER sponsored the rally, without of course mentioning this group's Stalinist roots. Prominent among the kooks and fiends lurking behind the scenes at ANSWER is Saddam Hussein's lawyer Ramsey Clark, who was on hand at the demo to proclaim our "solemn obligation to impeach President Bush." He also called for impeaching Vice President Dick Cheney and Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld.
There is plenty to be said about President Bush, not all of it good, but the bottom line is this: our country's worst enemies don't like it that he's President.
