Liberal Columnist: We Need More Girlie Men to Confront Islamic Terror
St. Petersburg Times columnist Robyn Blumner has the struggle against Islamic terror figured out: all we need is "more girlie men."
The problem is that we are just too masculine. When terrorists fly planes full of our people into skyscrapers full of more of our people, we want to retaliate in a way that will prevent it from happening again. If we weren't so macho, we would realize that this only creates "a vicious cycle of ever-deepening depravity."
Instead of inviting Osama bin Laden to come on Oprah and talk about his feelings, we take "George Bush's swaggering cowboy approach to geopolitics." Bush "likes his enemies in black hats." If he weren't such a he-man, maybe he would be empathetic enough to understand that homicidal Muslim maniacs aren't bad people; they're only crying out for help.
Blumner quotes ivory tower wise man Gary Bertsch of the University of Georgia, who frets that people won't like us because we have used the military instead of Foggy Bottom bloviators to deal with terrorism. According to Bertsch, we must put emphasis on dialogue and give and take negotiation, as opposed to military dominance. Evidently that will enable us to set aside our differences, all hold hands, and sing Kumbaya with the Islamic fanatics so devoted to our destruction that they are perfectly willing to blow themselves to bits if they can take a few of our civilians out with them.
Blumner's piece is highly recommended for anyone who does not understand why it is a matter of life and death that Democrats do not take control of the government. It could quite literally be national suicide to put the country in the hands of these idiots at this point in history.
Nestled deep in that brown smelly stuff they call "nuance," liberals simply have no clue how to deal with reality. But reality will know how to deal with them. We certainly don't want them imposing their fate on the rest of us.

On a tip from Bergbikr.

Here is a pithy observation by Mark Steyn directed to the libs pleading for feminization of the macho approach by our leadership in the War against Islamo-terrorists;
"I'm aware the very concept of "the enemy" is alien to the non-judgment multicultural mind: There are no
enemies, just friends whose grievances we haven't
yet accommodated."

It's weird, but I constantly hope that I one day I'll go to this page and see that it hasn't been updated for a while.
The number of updates this page needs daily is a sign that the Moonbats are not going away.
Whatever will our dear friend Robyn do when it is her life on the line in the war against western civilization being waged on us?

You know Van Helsing, its a good thing you provide links to your posts. Some of the stuff is so out there, it sounds like you're making it up.
PS: Did we really need a picture of manure?

Phil and metalgarth, there is so much moonbattery out there, VH actually needs able volunteers to help him keep track of it all... just today we got...
A Moonbat Peace-Hippie Who Apparently Thinks Bush Killed Jon Benet Ramsey
An Associated Press photograph shows one Seth Bingham, "of the Rocky Mountain Peace Center," protesting outside a Boulder, Colo., courthouse. Bingham holds up a printed sign with the messages "We are not safer" and "Occupation breeds hate." Above "occupation" is written "in Iraq," and below "breeds hate" is written "in Lebanon." On either side of the word "safer" is written the message "How many JonBenet's [sic]?"

The Seth Bigham story gets better:
From Allah at Hot Air:On a hunch, I did a Google search for “Seth Brigham” and got this:
Dear FRONTLINE,
There are no easy answers. That would be an understatement.
From personal experience I can tell you that state mental hospitals are prisons unto themselves. I have never been convicted of a crime and have always volunteered for mental health treatment and yet I have found myself imprisoned and in isolation for many days on end.
I fear the mental health system. Frontline should investigate further. Where can the impoverished mentally go and receive quality treatment???
Seth Brigham
Boulder, Colorado
Must be a coincidence.

And a little more here.
Poetic Justice
A Boulder dispute puts the “beat” into Beat poetry, man.
Seth Brigham fits right in at the Penny Lane coffeehouse.
A longtime Boulder resident, he produces an off-color program for the city's public-access CATV Channel 54, during which he makes political statements against corporate greed and government censorship. And although Brigham is bipolar and suffers from anxiety, he handles his mental illness with humor. His show, called Notes From the Quiet Room, is mainly used to parody mental illness in hopes, he says, of removing the stigma.

I think you owe that pile of shit an appology VH.
A very unfair comparison.

That pile is much better looking and smarter then any democrat liberal on the tv and in dc at the present time.

Looks like you don't know how to spell, either...
It's Brigham not Bingam.
Bring 'em on!!! How stupid is Bush, or what?
Looks like we got what we asked for, blood and death.
Next, we'll just nuke the planet. But, you can't spend your war profits if nobody is left.

V the K, you are a total fucking idiot. Seth may be insane, but you are absolutely retarded. Look deeper than the right-wing blog you are linking from... re-read the fucking article, you dumbshit. Nobody's suggesting yr precious GW killed Jonbenet, merely that thousands are dying each day due to GW's blunders, that each iraqi child could be a Jonbenet. His protest was also an attempt to suck off the sick facination amerikans have with little girl murders.
Truth be told, you and all who support this sick, twisted war deserve everything that happens to you. Trading innocent life to feed yr twisted ego is inexcusable and frankly, sick as fuck.
Down with the neo-con agenda! Long live the Peoples!
Who killed Jonbenet? You did, you sick fucker.
And like yr Dickhead hero said: Go fuck yrself.

Hey true moonbat, go kill some more innocents...
While america goes down the toilet due to the pricetage of "democracy." Freedom is for sale at the White house.
Love,
Sethy pooh
