Jimmy the Dhimmi Solves the Middle East

I guess when you're a diplomat, being diplomatic just comes naturally. Here's what Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Dan Gillerman had to say about the latest fatuous bloviations emitted from America's worst president, Jimmy "the Dhimmi" Carter:

I think that President Carter's appearances, op-eds, and speeches are an embarrassment. I think that they are an embarrassment to the great institution of the presidency. I mean, President Carter wasn't that great of a president to start with ... I really don't know what has happened to him over the last few years.

That's putting it rather nicely — especially considering the way the Carter op-ed that sparked the comment piled one inanity on top of another.

According to Jimbo, responding to rocket attacks on civilian populations that are deliberately launched from within other civilian populations is "inhumane and counterproductive." Better Israelis should just die already. The result of their troublesome efforts at self-defense against Hezbollah and Hamas

has been that broad Arab and worldwide support has been rallied for these groups, while condemnation of both Israel and the United States has intensified.

How Israel could pander to the judgments of people evil enough to support these terror groups and the left-wing fools who condemn it for fighting them without ceasing to exist is not explained.

Jimbo demanded the release of Lebanese prisoners, presumably including the monstrous Samir Kuntar, who snuck into Israel and bashed in a four-year-old girl's skull after making her witness her father's murder. I suppose from Carter's politically correct point of view, Kuntar was just celebrating his diverse ethnic heritage.

Not even passive defenses are to be allowed to Israel. The common sense step of building a fence so they can keep out the terrorists is dismissed with this:

Palestinians see their remnant territories reduced to little more than human dumping grounds surrounded by a provocative "security barrier" that embarrasses Israel's friends and that fails to bring safety or stability.

The sneer-quoted "security barrier" is working, by the way.

Never one to open his mouth without denouncing America, Carter managed to work in this:

A major impediment to progress is Washington's strange policy that dialogue on controversial issues will be extended only as a reward for subservient behavior and will be withheld from those who reject U.S. assertions.

The solution of course is to abandon this "strange policy" of expecting anything whatsoever from Arabs, and to wallow around in "[d]irect engagement with the Palestine Liberation Organization or the Palestinian Authority" for another decade or two while Muslims go right on killing Israelis and working on nukes.

For a more detailed response to Carter's latest foolishness — though a little less diplomatic than Ambassador Gillerman's — there's a good piece at FrontPage Magazine.

I served in the military while this pathetic former peanut farmer was President. That was almost 30 yrs.ago and the average follower of this nut(pun intended)wasn't even alive back then. They have no idea what a complete disaster everything he touched turned out to be. As a former Naval Officer, he went out of his way to prove he absolutely hated the military and he did everything he could to demoralize it. His brother Billy was a good old boy, who to his credit, actually made Jimmy look like the smart one. We wern't fooled though, as we watched Carter set the stage for the troubles we face in Iran today. No, we didn't like Carter then any more than now. This is a lesson to all who will do incompetant political work. Let some time pass, at least one generation, and then make your comeback. Hell,Ted murdered someone. And Bill is a rapist. Come to think of it, Jimmy wouldn't seem so bad if he wasn't getting people killed with his "diplomatic" work.

Ever wonder about the ethical dilemma of a Secret Service agent assigned to protect Carter?

On one hand, he has a duty to do his job and protect Carter. On the other, he has a duty to protect the United States and defend it enemies, foreign and domestic.

Tough call.

Ever wonder who is the bigger tool? Jimmy Carter or his hammer?

Hands down, it is Jimmy.

This peanut farming christian infidel baffles me! This politicking for my hezbollah dogs against the sons of pigs and monkeys is good so maybe I will spare him the jizya as he is already rendering payment for his dhimmitude. Allah (pbuh) is confused too.

Thanks to Peanut Dhimmi the Shah of Iran was replaced by an Islamofascist regime that is currently hell bent on developing nuclear weapons (to finish Hitler's final solution). People of his ilk (Vanessa Redgrave, Michael Moore, Noam Chomsky) are the real Anti-Semites, not a drunken and pathetic Mel Gibson. Because it is they who will have the blood of Jews on their hands.
