ACLU Jackals Go After Hazleton

Readers may remember Hazleton as the Pennsylvania town that has courageously attempted to save itself from being swept away in a tide of illegal immigration. Naturally such efforts could not go unpunished by "civil rights" thugs.

A suit filed against the town's City Council alleges that the town's defensive measures of denying business permits to companies that hire illegal aliens and fining landlords who rent to them violates the U.S. Constitution. The suit doesn't need to have any merit; it just needs to cost enough in legal fees to force the little town to submit to illegal colonization by Mexico.

Unsurprisingly, the Anti-American Communist Lawyers Union is prominent among the pack of hyenas that has set upon Hazleton. Yaps ACLU shyster Omar Jadwat:

This mean-spirited law is wrong for many reasons but the most obvious is that the city does not have the power to make its own immigration laws.

The tactic of claiming that only the federal government can enforce immigration law has been used before. It is favored by fifth-columnists because they know that the bloated obscenity known as the federal government has absolutely no interest in defending the country from foreign conquest.

Hazleton's heroic Mayor Lou Barletta is standing fast, promising to take the case all the way to the Supremes if necessary. "We're not going to be bullied," says Barletta, whose open letter on the necessity of defending Hazleton should be an inspiration to small towns everywhere.
