Ramsey Clark Plans Rally Against Israel
Ramsey Clark has announced plans to stage a "National Emergency March on Washington" to protest American support for Israel's attempts to defend itself. According to Clark, who was U.S. Attorney General under LBJ, the financial assistance our country has long provided to Israel is grounds for impeaching President Bush.
Participating in the spectacle will be various representatives of the moonbat–Muslim alliance, including the National Council of Arab-Americans, Partnership for Civil Justice, Muslim American Society Freedom Foundation and the Stalinist ANSWER Coalition, with which Clark is closely affiliated.
Unlike the United States and Israel, Hezbollah and Hamas are not considered by Clark's ANSWER friends to be terrorist organizations. ANSWER's Brian Becker explains:
The characterization of Hizballah as a terrorist organization by the Bush administration must be understood in exactly the same way that they conducted the demonization campaign against the Iraqi government under the Saddam Hussein era. Which is simply to find a rationale to justify terrorist actions against the people who live in Lebanon, just as the Bush administration needed to find an explanation to carry out its war crimes, its crimes against humanity and its state-sponsored terrorism against the people of Iraq.
What does America have against poor little Lebanon? Apparently, we want to steal their nonexistent oil. According to Mounzer Sleiman of National Council of Arab-Americans, Israel is not trying to defend itself from terror attacks, but is acting as a pawn in an American scheme to gain control of oil reserves. Squawks Sleiman, who is described as an "independent military and political analyst":
The main aim of this war is not to free captured soldiers. It is not even to remove Hizballah. It is purely and simply to bring Lebanon down on its knees and bring about its disintegration.
Why anyone in the West would want to bring about the disintegration of a relatively civilized Arab state that has been moving toward democracy is not explained. If Lebanon did have any oil, we would just buy it. But in Ramsey Clark's circles, rational explanations are not to be expected.

AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH !!!!!!!!!!!!
The insanity of these people is never ending! How can anyone be so blind to the truth. The truth was spoken by, I think, Newt Gingrich last week, "If Hizbollah dropped their weapons, peace would settle in. If Israel dropped their's, they would be destroyed" -- loose quote
Wake up moonbats!

Explanation for Moonbattery: The Left-Wing Cargo Cult Ghost Dance
Another famous example is the "cargo cult" of early 20th century New Guinea. There, the natives couldn't help but notice that they had to work very hard, while the white colonialists seemed to sit around a lot, and received great stores of goods simply by sending out little scraps of paper. They reasoned that this had something to do with the mysterious cargo ships that left with native products and returned loaded down with all of the machines and other items that seemed to make the white men so powerful. The New Guineans developed the idea that these powerful objects were fashioned by their ancestors in a far-off volcano and were actually meant for them. But in order to ensure receiving them, they would have to imitate the behaviors of the white men by "sitting solemnly and speechlessly around tables," waiting for their ship to come in, so to speak.
Perhaps we are dealing with a crisis cult. After all, progressives are having to cope with a catastrophic collapse of their world and all of its comforting myths. As each myth crumbles in succession, they become increasingly frantic in papering over reality with the downright strange beliefs of their progressive crisis cult.
Air America is a sad ghost dance. The primitive progressives observed the big bwana, Rush Limbaugh, and noticed that he simply sat at a table speaking into a microphone and attracted millions of listeners. They would angrily do the same thing, and watch their ratings soar! But it was not to be. The ratings ship loaded down with goodies never arrived. Nevertheless, the Air America ghost dance will continue for as long as George Soros and his ilk fund it.

Gah! I guess that's the kind of face you get by being a sanctimonious twit for forty years.
One could do a lot worse than to go through life closely observing Ramsey Clark's every decision, and doing the opposite.

Truth be told the real reason is that we are trying to steal the ultimate recipe for baklava that is secreted somewhere in Lebanon.

I'm glad that I'm smart enough to realize that most people don't take guys like mr. Magoo here serious. At the end of th day it amazes me how quick stories like this get replaced by the next. There is no agenda which promotes anything positive for themselves or anything they affiliate with. Also last time I checked, lebanon is a pro-western country, now either the anti-western left is too stupid to peak out of their shell or they take the general population for imbeciles. They need someone to paint the face of satan on, may as well be someone who wouldn't saw their heads off. The only thing saving this country and winning the global war on terror is being able to identify the enemy...militant islam and the anti-western left.
