Nobel Prize Winner Tells Children She Wants to Kill U.S. President
No list of sociopaths and nitwits who have been awarded Nobel Prizes would be complete without mentioning 1976 Peace Prize winner Betty Williams, who has just treated hundreds of Australian schoolchildren to this announcement:
I would love to kill George Bush.
Indicating that the political climate in Australian schools doesn't differ much from that in the USA, the kids responded by clapping and cheering.
Williams won her prize by circulating a petition to end the violence in Northern Island. She is in Australia for the same Earth Dialogues forum that has provided communist fossil Mikhail Gorbachev yet another opportunity to be conspicuously useless.
Speaking of useless, the delegates at the forum wrapped up their three-day kookfest with a 26-point action plan. Their pious conclusions include the following:
- There can be no sustainable peace while the majority of the world's population lives in poverty.
- There can be no sustainable peace if we fail to rise to the global challenge presented by climate change.
- There can be no sustainable peace while military spending takes precedence over human development.
To which I might add, there can be no sustainable moonbattery without pompous fools making fatuous declarations.

She's right about overpopulation and world hunger standing in the way of world peace. Bill Gates and Waren Buffet just donated 100 billion dollars to fix that problem. Robert McNamara says the same thing.

Overpopulation and world hunger is preventing world peace? Define overpopulation. Hunger is caused mainly by dictatorships and Marxist economies. Democracies tend to be well fed (too much so in some cases)and wealthier. Even the poor in the US are better off than most of the people on Earth, particularly in 3rd world countries.
What about Islamo-Fascism? Reducing population and hunger would do nothing to solve that problem. With these nuts you either bow to the will of Allah or you die. I guess if the rest of the world submits to these wackos the world would indeed be without war. Then again is really the kind of world most people want to live in?
Not to mention much of the developing world is gravitating toward destructive socialism/communism which destroys initiative and reduces standards of living.
Note that things are improving in nations that have freer economies and capitalism despite a population of 1.1 billion - China is a good example. They have no political freedom, but as they become wealthier the people will demand it. It might take another 20 years or so.

They say that a rising tide lifts all boats, meaning that a rising economy will bring everyone more wealth and freedom. Leftists point to places in Africa (where communism is very popular at the moment) and say "No it doesn't, see these people? They're hungry and poor!"
They forget that a rising tide won't lift a boat with a fucking great hole blown in the bottom. You can probably guess what that hole is called...
