Louisiana Sheriff Incurs Wrath of Moonbats

St. Tammany Parish Sheriff Jack Strain is in for it now. The NAACP is screeching all the way to Attorney General Alberto Gonzales over remarks Strain made in a local television interview.

Still dealing with the criminal aftermath of Katrina, Strain announced that anyone loping around his parish wearing dreadlocks or Chee Wee hairdos could "expect to be getting a visit from a sheriff's deputy." The sheriff made his motives clear:

I don't want to see temporary housing because of Katrina turn into long-term housing for a bunch of thugs and trash that don't need to be in St. Tammany Parish.

Most outrageous of all, Strain announced that his department was committed to preventing crime, and wasn't going to worry about "hurting someone's feelings."

The NAACP denounced his remarks as unconstitutional.

Everyone knows white people don't wear dreadlocks.

What is a Chee Wee hairdo?

Now suddenly free speech is unconstitutional? It's not racial profiling until you actually racially profile someone.

But, in order to cover all bases, the Sheriff should rephrase:

Strain said anyone walking the streets should "expect to be getting a visit from a sheriff's deputy."
