If Only Cindy Sheehan Were Sincere

Thank you Norah O'Donnell for not fawning over the allegedly hunger-striking Cindy Sheehan when she appeared on MSNBC's Hardball yesterday to once again remind us that what this liberal icon stands for is not just abandoning democracy to terrorism in Iraq, but a profound hostility to the United States and the freedom it represents.

Visibly appalled by Mother Moonbat's antics, O'Donnell asked whether she would rather live under the socialist dictator Hugo Chavez than President Bush. The answer: a simple "yes."

If only this horrid creature could have been telling the truth just for once. I'm sure Chavez would be willing to take her off our hands. The Ditch Witch would make a fine Minister of Anti-American Propaganda.

The door is open if she really wants to leave.

Too bad Ms. O'Donnell hadn't prepared properly. If she had, the moment The Sheehan (what on earth is her husband doing? Building a case for divorce and commitment, I suppose) said "yes" O'Donnell could have handed her plane tickets.

Sindy Sheehag is what people call "a piece of work" --- except for the "work" part.

Great example of freedom of speech. Why not go ahead and stone her?

DJ, you're missing the point. of course she has every right to say what she said. but we also have the right to call her names for it.

And, lets face it, if she really wanted to go and live under Chavez she'd be there already.

Who is uglier: Sheehan or Hugo Chavez?

Both are hideous...

In some ways, this is kind of interesting for those of us who were too young during the final years of the Vietnam war, or weren't even born yet.

We get to see all of the lunacy first hand, just brought forward 30 years.

Principles, schminciples. People like Sheehan talk the talk, but you don't see them packing their bags to live in places like Cuba or Venezuela because deep down, they know their reasoning has more holes than a collander. It's all about trying to gain a power foothold here.

You know, I bet we could easily raise enough money for Sheehan's plane ticket (one way isn't as expensive, you know) and a little shack down in Chavezland (housing for the common man in communist regimes is notoriously affordable) and a limo to the airport so Sheehan would have no barriers to departure. Only thing is, I'd like to have the gift presented on camera so she'd have no choice but to accept and depart immediately or refuse and shut up on the "I'd like to go live with the communists" line once and for all.

TRY, we all know she didn't mean it, any more than Alec Baldwin or those other Hollywood airheadistas meant it when they said they would leave if Bush was re-elected.

Cindy and her ilk feel a need to remind us how much they hate America, but they have no intention of seriously leaving behind the only country that seriously protects their freedom to spew such vile idiocy. I don't see Spielberg or Oliver Stone taking up residence in Havana, either. Although but think Castro is a much smarter, more noble man than George W. Bush.

Look, I don't like The Beard That Walks Like A Man either, but what on Earth did Castro ever do to you bad enough to justify wishing Spielburg and Stone on him?
