Hollywood Leftists Donate Pocket Change to Lamont

The Democrat Party's ever more dominant lunatic fringe has been calling for Joe Lieberman's head to punish his apostasy of observing that the war in Iraq is worth fighting and that we are winning it. If money has its way, Lieberman might be evicted from his Connecticut Senate seat after 18 years. Moonbat challenger for the Democratic nomination Ned Lamont has outraised and outspent Lieberman by $600,000 over the past two months.

Lamont gets 70% of his contributions from out of state, much of it from Hollywood, where fortunately for Lieberman, generosity does not match the outlandishly opulent lifestyle.

Limousine leftists Barbra Streisand, Rosie O'Donnell, Norman Lear (producer of "All in the Family"), Jackson Browne, and Richard Donner (movie director) gave $1,000 apiece. Paul Newman parted with $2,100; he lives in Connecticut. Former "Baywatch" bimbo Alexandra Paul, who regards herself as an activist, coughed up $250.

Given the oceans of money these people swim around in, I hope they tip their manicurists better than this.

Billionaire hard-left puppeteer George Soros also contributed. Considering the millions of dollars he has sunk into efforts to manipulate our political process, I'm guessing he was a little more generous.
