Gorby Grouses From the Dustbin of History
Fifteen years after the Evil Empire collapsed around him, resulting in a hard-line coup followed by the dissolution of the Soviet Union, Mikhail Gorbachev is still chewing sour grapes. The former General Secretary of the USSR's Communist Party sounds a little like a petulant teenager as he snipes:
We have made some mistakes. So what? ... Do you really think you are smarter than we are?
When it comes to politics and economics, the answer is a resounding yes.
Whines the former dictator, who has been fawned over by liberals who don't want to give Reagan credit for winning the Cold War:
Americans have a severe disease — worse than AIDS. It's called the winner's complex.
There is a disease worst still, suffered by Gorby and other communist fossils, many of whom can be found in Western universities: loser's complex.

Remember in the first Naked Gun movie with Frank busted in on all of the terrorists and rubbed the mark off of Gorby's head?
