Gays Harass Heterosexuals in Massachusetts
Provincetown, Massachusetts is known as New England's "summer gay capital." Non-gays would be advised not to let the sun set on them there.
Heterosexuals are publicly denounced as "breeders" and "baby makers" in this enlightened rainbow town. As in Jacksonville, Florida, those who sign a petition opposing the abomination of same-sex "marriage" have their names posted on the Internet; at least one woman has been physically assaulted as a result. Verbal assault appears to be common.
Naturally these incidents are not classified as "hate crimes," because the targets are normal people.
As always, gays claim to be the victims. Art gallery owner Steve Bowersock squeals that "there are still a lot of straight people who treat gays badly." He admits to discriminating against heterosexuals, whom he delights in disgusting:
If I see someone nervous like a big butch guy, and you can just tell he's a redneck, I'll grab my partner and I'll kiss him.
I guess that's what people who you can just tell are rednecks get for probably being the kind who would stereotype.

I live maybe 15 minutes from New Hope PA, which has been a cereal bowl (full of nuts flakes and fruit) since the 1920's. my sister in Law (whom I adore) is a Neo-Pagan High Priestess. I know a fair number of Gays, most of whom are no worse jerks than the average for the population.
There are, however, a certain number who seem determined to live down to a stereotype. The morons whose limp wristed fluttering is right out of Central Casting. The exhibitionists who advertise their kinks by dressing in bondage gear on the street. It is my experience that these twits are not, strictly speaking, Gay. As I understand it, to be Gay you must be sexually attracted to somebody other than yourself.
In the early 1970's many of these swine were still lurking around the hetero Sexual Revolution scene, battening on sweet young things and making people of both sexes miserable. When straight society started to make fun of the totally self centered hetero disco cruiser, they drifted over to the Gay scene, where Gays made them welcome because of insecurities and for the sake of numbers. The sooner the Gays realize they are being used by these sexual vampires, and ostracize them , the better. The Narcissii (sp? plural of Narcissus) are probably the biggest roadblock to societal acceptance that the Gay community has.

Question is, what exactly is your definition of "societal acceptance"?
When it moves into areas of
*redefinition of a centuries old custom and
*flaunting your sexual practices in my face,
but then if I express my persoanl revulsion you call me a "fascist, hating homophobe"
YOU WILL NEVER GET WHAT YOU WANT.
And again, if America is sooo bad, as you claim over and over--GO MOVE TO FUCKING IRAN.
You can get plenty of "head" there, the decapitated kind.

My definition of "Societal Acceptance" is thus:
There are many Orthodox Jews who do not believe that a marriage of Jew to Christian is valid. There are many Catholics who do not believe that a marriage performed by a Protestant Minister is valid. And so on. Yet, for the most part, these people keep their deeply held beliefs to themselves when in public. They treat couples who they do not believe to be really married as couples in public, for the sake of 'getting along with the neighbors'.
Gays can have that, and I think they should, AS SOON AS THEY STOP PLAYING 'SPOOK THE SQUARES'.
I happen to think, based on personal experience, that the majority of contestants at that disgusting pastime (and by far the worst offenders) are examples of the Narcissexuals I described in my first post.
