Err America Cofounder Blames Karl Rove for Left's Anti-Semitism
You have to hand it to Err America cofounder Sheldon Drobny: unlike many leftists these days, at least he isn't an anti-Semite. However, that doesn't mean he isn't a paranoid lunatic.
Faced with the hatred his fellow lefties have been spewing at Israel and its citizens, Drobny was forced to fall back on the standard moonbat explanation for the existence of evil: Karl Rove did it.
I came to the conclusion that the hostile comments about Israel on these liberal blogs are not coming from true liberals. Most of the anti-Semitism comes from racism and most of the racism I have experienced has come from the far right, not the left. And history shows that the Christo-fascist policies of the right have been responsible for historical anti-Judaism. ...
So my conclusion is that the bloggers who violently hate Israel and see it in black and white terms are not really liberals. ... I would not put it past the right wing to flood the liberal blogs with hateful criticisms of Israel to advance a perception that liberals are anti-Israel or anti-Semitic. And I see Karl Rove's fingerprints all over this.
So the Right's passionate and nearly unanimous support for Israel is just a smokescreen to cover an insidious "Christo-fascist" scheme to replace the Left's true opinions with our own well-concealed anti-Semitism — a scheme coordinated by none other than the dastardly Karl Rove. Either that or Drobny needs to start taking his meds.

I love the way leftists define away their problems. Guttersnipes are not true leftists, and so no leftists are guttersnipes. Simple, really.
Communism is perfectly viable, because true communism has never been tried. All the failed attempts were not true communism, and Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, etc. were not true communists, don't you see. So communism does not as a necessity entail coercion to place the collective interest above the individual, and communists are not brutal dictators trying to impose their vision of society on everyone else, with themselves on top, of course. That's not true communism, which is sweetness and light, and so if it's not sweetness and light, it's not the real deal.
Moving the goalposts, I believe it's called.

"True Communism" has never been tried because it is impossible. It goes against human nature. There will always be a certain group within any society that attempt to gain control seeking power and wealth. Even in North Korea there are the wealthy - those in the "inner party" and those in the military.
The closest thing to actual communism was the hippie communes of the 60s and early 70s. Eventually they all faded away as the hippies woke up and realized that living in filthy impoverished conditions was no fun at all- no fun at all.

Wow! That's an impressive fallacy-filled argument.
Hmmm... I can play this game too. He says he's a progressive liberal who "view[s] the world in shades of gray as compared to the right wing black and white approach" But, as he deemed that only conservatives can be anti-Semites and liberals are unable to be anti-Semitic, he sees the world in a black and white manner instead of admitting to shades of gray in which there could exist an anti-Semitic liberal. That means that he's not really a liberal - he's a conservative!
