Children, Microchips, Cigarette Companies and Hillary Clinton

While indulging in the standard Democratic denunciation of tobacco companies yesterday, this time for allegedly targeting children with flavored cigarettes, Hillary Clinton got a little carried away, and as Newsday puts it, "took a slight detour into the political twilight zone."

Apparently not joking, Senator Clinton shared the following at a Kaiser Family Foundation forum on media and the children:

At the rate that technology is advancing, you know, people will be implanting chips in our children to advertise directly into their brains and tell them what kind of products to buy.

An R.J. Reynolds spokesman characterized Shrillary's remarks as "inflammatory" and affirmed that his company markets only to adults. But he apparently did not deny planting microchips in children's brains to compel them to smoke cigarettes.

Below, Hillary models headwear that will prevent signals from reaching any microchips that cigarette companies might have planted in her brain. That ought to foil them.

There was a time when saying something as loony toony as this would be the end of a politician's career. Nowadays, it's indisitinguishable background noise.

The Democratic Party: "You don't have to be crazy to work here... well, actually you do."

How about covertly putting chips in the vermin at Club Gitmo so we can track em back to their comrades when they are released by decisions of liberal judges. Wight as well get some use out of em, right?

And anyway, the tinfoil hat won't work, Hillary. You need a full Faraday cage to stop the signal. The signal will just bend around the hat and actually be concentrated! Think of operating a cellphone inside a metal airplane. It gets concentrated by reflection and goes out the windows. Cellphones actually work pretty well in commercial aircraft.
